I found an mp3 album downloadable from..amaz...etc. that has bunches (25?) songs on it with same title as this album..Judy ..and Liza..at the London Paladium:)))) that is at least double the amt of songs from the one CD version
This is so amazing and adorable, I love how Judy just lets Liza take up all the glory, and you can totally see what a proud momma she is! Liza and Judy, ESPECIALLY Judy, are the most talented women ever!
LIZA LIZA SKIES ARE GRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You HIT that last note! That was a third up from the one Barbara Streisand hit on the show! Alrighty then. LOL!
I don't care what nobody says, this concert was LIZA'S show! LOL! And I am actually a bigger fan of Garland than of Minnelli but Liza was eatin that stage up. Her mom didn't know what to DO with her! LOL!!!!!!
@BubblyViolin11 LOL. You are so right! I didn't mean that to take anything away from mother. Actually, on mother's part I think it is excellent showmanship to ceceed the stage like that.
tI think Liza's voice sounds unpolished yet strong & clear,Does her nose look bigger? I wonder if she didn't have a nose job,not that it matters,I still her and her mom,What talent!!!
On a Sunday the 22nd of June 1969, The World woke up to the News of Judy Garland's death. The news sent shock waves across the entire planet & for the 7 days the media paid homage to " A Great Lady who had the Ultimate Interview"! Judy, Your fans still mourn your passing. I have the comfort of knowing your spirit was embraced by GOD & that HE showed you HIS infinite peace & all that heaven has too offer you. U brought a lot of joy to me & I thank God for creating you. RIP on this 6/22/10
I love her expression @ :38 to :40 when the Lady yelled "We love you!" & Judy without missing a beat said lovingly, "I Do Love You" Judy was a loving human being all she ever wanted was to be loved & respected. which is why She loved performing live. She wanted to take her fans in her arms. It amazes me when we read the stories of how so many people, esp her own Mother used her; How The men in her life used her; I think if her father lived longer her personal life would've been a lot different.
an amazing mother and daughter moment and judy looks so proud!but this is only my opinion, i much prefer barbra streisand's duet with judy from the judy garland show in October 1963 that was just pure magic and i have goosebumps every time i hear it!!!!!!
'Sister Act' is on at the London Palladium at the moment.... I'm wondering if the people going to see it have any idea what once took place on that stage...................THISSS! 0_0
@princessjoots I know this response is for the comment you placed one year ago. I was in London w/classmates & teachers while in college. My Theater buddies & other classmates took a 5 day trip to study British Culture. I was in awe of the Palladium. it's where Judy's Concert years began & sadly ended in London when she died. I took the trip New Years '01 I stood outside the home where she died . It was very eerie because I literally felt her energy as if she were still alive. glad i went.
@NFitalianGuy NO WAY! I sometimes go to look at that house too!!!! It's really weird, for me I feel that it has no connection to her.. you can feel her presence on the steps outside the Palladium... but not outside that broken down house..no way haha.. I dont think she dwells there!!! But I guess everyone has a different experience.
Btw that house looks the same in 2010 as it did in '01 Im positive, like, no one looks after it haha.
You know Judy had a huge Love for her fans when she responds to them when they shout out from the audience. Look at Judy after a fan screams "I LOVE YOU" and then Judy with that famous smile says, "I DO LOVE YOU" Makes me melt each time I hear and see it
MY GOD, Better than Judy & Streisand's same duet on Judy's CBS Show! Just imagine had they toured together later in the 60's or after (had Judy lived). Thanks so MUCH for this!
Wow. Young people should hear this. Real singing!

@THERIGHTREVEREND actually not really. as any mother would do, judy let her girl take the limelight, and ms. garland is damn well proud of that :)
