1) If you smudge out a shadow (or anything, really), the detail gets lost but not the color and luminosity values. There should still be a dark patch in the photo, and there isn't.
2) Blur and smudges are an unspeakably amateurish way to hide anything in a photo. Any government worth its salt would have either airbrushed the stuff out or pasted something over it instead of using blur.
More to the point, are you alleging that the government had Adobe Photoshop in 1969? And what about my second argument, that they would have used either collage or airbrushing instead of blur to hide things in the photos (much better techniques, as you yourself would know were you an intermediate Photoshop user yourself)?
Maybe it wasn't called photoshop, but yes, they most likely had a tool where they could manipulate many different variables..... your missing the whole point... the government can use what ever they want to cover up the "anomalies"... it's not like there is any one set way to alter an image... I do not know the answer to this, and neither do you, so arguing is pretty much useless....

The only point I'm making is that blur is a very obvious way to hide something in a photo. Check out some examples of photo retouching and airbrushing from the Soviet Union - even back in the '30s, they were quite good at filling in background where the object used to be, so that you'd never know there was anything there to begin with. Whatever the reason for the blurred spaces on these NASA photos, I feel pretty confident saying that it wasn't an attempt to hide an object.
So you're comparing the soviet union air brushing out UFO'S (or UO's) to the USA... or something completely different. Maybe they didn't do it perfectly well for a reason, as to leave a trace of evidence... their could be a million things I could hypothesize, but as I said before we really don't know anything.
But don't you think if a civilization is 100's of thousands or millions of years more advanced that they wouldn't have a problem building any sort of MOON BASES.

Second of all, because there is no atmosphere, the moon has very odd temperatures, ranging from -342 degrees Fahrenheit at night to about 212 degrees Fahrenheit in the daytime. third and finally, there is no water, which is everything that carbon based life survives off of. Cell Respiration cannot take place, and therefore life cannot exist.

1) If you smudge out a shadow (or anything, really), the detail gets lost but not the color and luminosity values. There should still be a dark patch in the photo, and there isn't.
2) Blur and smudges are an unspeakably amateurish way to hide anything in a photo. Any government worth its salt would have either airbrushed the stuff out or pasted something over it instead of using blur.

The only point I'm making is that blur is a very obvious way to hide something in a photo. Check out some examples of photo retouching and airbrushing from the Soviet Union - even back in the '30s, they were quite good at filling in background where the object used to be, so that you'd never know there was anything there to begin with. Whatever the reason for the blurred spaces on these NASA photos, I feel pretty confident saying that it wasn't an attempt to hide an object.

Maybe they didn't do it perfectly well for a reason, as to leave a trace of evidence... their could be a million things I could hypothesize, but as I said before we really don't know anything.
