  • I have a question. My oven is broken, and we don't have extra spending money for a new one. I have a counter-top oven from Costco, and use it for food. Can I bake clay (Premo brand) IN that counter-top oven? Will it ruin the oven?

  • what happens if you use your kitchen oven to bake your polymer clay ? and you still use it to bake food after? ;o

  • how long to cook at what temp.

  • if the clay got burned would it be rlly bad to were u would have to throw it out?

  • what tempature for baking clay?

    how long?

  • what temperature do you use usally on a kitchen oven and how long?

  • Is it necessary to cover the pan with the clay using tin foil? Or it's okay already even if you don't put anything to cover it? Also, is the result the same if I use modeling clay instead of polymers? Thanks a lot. :)

  • @iAlice10 well i do know, if you use non-dry modeling clay, it will most likely melt.

  • @DogsnPuppies101 ok, thanks! :D anyway, the clay i bought dont have "non-dry" or something in it so i dont know if its non-dry or not. :)

  • how long do you bake it for??

  • Wtf happened to ur oven?

  • Hahaha, it's funny that enough people asked you this question so many times that you had to make a video, and it's even funnier that it has so many views.

  • I burnt my polymer clay in my kitchen oven, and I think it released toxic fumes.. Can I still put food in it ??

  • how much is the mini ovens???????

  • Have you ever burned anything before?

  • @claymaking101 Oh yes. Many, MANY times. And lets not talk about my real food cooking skills. lol

  • @GardenOfImagination about the burning, will it hit the smoke alarm. u see, i just moved to a new apartment and the smoke alarm is very sensitive, i tried frying eggs with the vent and it hit the smoke alarm lol.... but i really wanna make polymer clay charms x[

  • @iGuiGuixD Set a timer and try not to burn any clay as the fumes are toxic. If you do, open a window. ANY smoke can set off a smoke detector. Doesn't matter if it's food or clay, it will still go off.

  • is polymer clay FIMO ? please reply back .

  • @gagajoyce fimo is a brand that can be polymer clay but they also sell air drying clay which u cannot bake

  • wait i am confused do u have to put the tin foil on the pan and over it?

  • i bought some and it was writing on it (kids clay)cAN I USE IT ?

and i tried to bake it in the home oven but it didnt work

    what can i do ?

  • @GardenOfImagination so if steam is coming out of the oven does that mean it's burning

  • I should have watched this before I baked my clay =_= some parts are burned and I baked them at the metal plate huhu

  • how much temperature?

  • I'm a n00b at polymer clay, and I made an average sized (or maybe a little larger) cupcake charm and baked it for about 15 minutes. Is that good, or should I bake it longer?

I think it should be baked for about an hour, because it's about an inch thick in diameter.

  • Can u use a small plate

  • will It poison the food after using it to bake?

  • @GardenOfImagination wont the tin foil catch on fire

  • @GardenOfImagination but what will happen if u use the same toaster oven for food again becuz ive dun that many times. will it like poison the food or make it toxic? thnx for replying:) (if u do)

  • @GardenOfImagination Question! if i dont have the clay i need. Can i just mix white clay with paint then oven bake it? plz answer >.<

  • @ag469 Usually a little lower because they are made cheaply and run too hot. But if it's a good one, then yes.

  • Cool, thank you!

  • Can I bake the clay if I have it attached to a wooden plate?

  • @PuersumDeorum yes.

  • Is it safe to use this oven outside? I have plugs outside.

  • @loyantekittay Yes, very safe.

  • MY SISTER HAS THAT DOLL

  • One time I was baking my creations I made and they got burned ):they got all black and smoke came out but nothing bad happend to my house

  • One time

  • can you use aluminum foil instead of tin?

  • @Mariadelsol1011 Yes... it's the same thing.

  • hmmm can u make it in the microwave??

  • @kinkster100 No. Never. It will melt and ruin it.

  • @GardenOfImagination

    oooo ok :D

  • @gardenofimagination do u have to bake it?

  • @ichigoakawain Yes, you have to bake polymer clay if you want it to harden.

  • @ gardenofimagination can u use a blowdryer to cook clay? O.O?

  • @ichigoakawain No. It will cook it, but it will burn it more often than not.

  • how long does it takes before it is okay to pull out?

  • @comeflywidme1 Check my other videos for times and temps of various clays. Depends on thickness as well.

  • @talyor098123 You should check your particular type of clay for times and temps. Just remember that slow and low are the best ways to bake polymer clay. Also, a tin foil tent works well. Slice your watermelon before baking though.

  • My problem is that if I set the temperature to 275 degrees as some clays indicates, my item will burn!

  • @clarity023 Better to make the temperature too low than too high. Check out my tin foil video.

  • @gardenofimagination hey I wad wondering where you went! Will there be any videos out soon? This was te last vid u posted and I still can't wait to see the finished lighthouse!

  • Angela, I was wondering, what will be your next video? And Katherine is soooo cute.

  • @puccicarolyn I would heat from the bottom up to avoid scorching the tops.

  • is it true that when you use your oven toaster as a baking oven for polymer clay, you are not suppose to use it for food anymore? or is it still safe as long as you dont burn it... ?

  • please enter my contest!

  • what type of polymer clay do you use?

  • hi i used a tin foil tent and its still outside its been there for about an hour and it just made everything really really soft instead of hard....... how long is it supposed to be out there?

  • @dumplin518 Are you using polymer clay or regular clay? It must be polymer clay.

  • @GardenOfImagination ya polymer

  • where do u get all your clay?

  • is the clay toxic wen u getit out of the fumes cuz after i did that it gave me a headache

  • It is good to hear your voice again. :)

  • Angela, what would be your next video about?

  • cool!

    yay new video

  • umm can u put play dough in a pasta machine????

  • what if your clay has to be baked for 15 min and you accidentally left it in for 30 min?

  • GLAD TO SEE THAT YOUR BACK

  • thanks for that video.

  • do you know anyone that sells sculpey or polymer clay that ships to asia for a low price? thx :)

  • what about a microwave please hurry in answering

  • @HowToGirl14 You cant use a microwave

  • Your back. Finally a video

  • can you bake model magic by crayola ?

  • @lildancer280 Model magic is considered "paper clay" you don't need to bake it as if you let it dry at room temperature for a day or so it gets hard and doesn't take too much damage easily, if it gets wet, it reverts back to soft form unless you gesso, primer, or clear acrylic resin spray you can find at virtually any craft store. Premo, Fimo, or Sculpey have the 'bakeable' clays you're looking for. Sculpey actually has a 'starter' kit for their polymer clay and it has around 20 colors.

  • Ok, here's a weird question? Can you bake in Easy Bake Ovens? It usually has a 100% light tbulb... Can you find out for me? Thank you!

  • I miss your videos!!! =)

I'd love to put my oven outside during the summer. lol I am always using my oven even in the summer. But summer is over here so I can use it once again. =)
