What I'd like to kmow is how did he come up with this. It seem's like he's a good guy with a lotta humor toward life, I mean being homeless and all you'd think a guy would be bitter, but he's just kinda rolled with it, got a little fame even from this, people go there just to watch this guy. I myself think it's one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile.

I saw this guy last summer.  He was pretty funny. We sat and watched him for about a half an hour. He is actually mentioned in the book "Under the overpass." It's a great book about homeless life.

Just recently in San Fran and was fortunate enough to see the Bush Man. What a brilliant act. He certainly has a sense of humor. As I was taking photos of him he informed me that photos would cost me and that he would pay to see my bush. Love it!!

i lived in the northbay growing up and this was one of the best stops in sf, i recommend it over the 49ers! but ya this guy makes plenty of money unfortunately he probably has a few unhealthy habits - the thing is it ruins his gig if you go up and drop some change by a bush when hes trying to scare somebody

Awesome! I was just on vacation in California, and we went to the wharf in San Fran the day before our flight back home. We watched this guy, right in that same spot.

It's actually quite hilarious, because first of all there is a huge bush randomly on the sidewalk, and there was about 100 people watching on the other side of the street.

He screamed at them when I was there.
