My helmet cam picks up to much wind noise. Any suggestions?

i have a piece of open cell foam over the mic. of course if your mic is near your lens it may not work for you. i have played with using a cotton ball and/or electrical to help cut down on the wind noise. depending on which camera I'm using. let me know what you sort out!

this is Clear creek in California. unfortunately it has been closed down. they wont allow people in there at all...no rock hounds no hikers, no moto...major bummer. the riding was EPIC!!!

Just so everyone knows, the BLM took it upon themselfs to close down the prime riding areas at Clear Creek, based on a flawed and biased test by the EPA. If this pisses you off, get involved now.

I ride SHIFT or Fox. i haven't tried Thor YET.

depends how it is geared...i think it will do about 80 as it is now. maybe a bit faster according to the computer i have on it.

i use the SCOUT from VIO hooked to a sony dH96. the mini DV format is actually the limiting factor not the helmet cam! it still is supposed to produce dvd quality video. it looks fantastic when played on my home TV
