  • next time get off the damn bike and use the zoom on the camera.

  • Wait, so they are just cougars? They have cougars in SC. I honestly don't see why they are hard to find though. I mean I know there is a lot of cougars in SC. So why not in Florida? Sorry if I am wrong.

  • @B3llBoyZ Fl panthers are endangered and have been since the 50's. There are only an estimated 70 left in the wild. The Fl panther needs 300 miles of habitat so they are killing each other because there is not enough wilderness left for them. l

  • i kinda wanted it to pounce on some1 hahah

  • why not be quiet and enjoy that lovely animal

  • I cant help thinking about the bikers here in so cal that have been eaten by Mountain lions. Also ive been in the in the woods neer Silver springs as a kid and me and my dad heard a hog ahead of us and I was scared to go over to it but my dad wanted to go closer. I heard those hogs are mean. I had a similar biking expeirence with a Bob cat here on a trail in Altadena. Excuse the gramer- im a product of Fl. public schools lol

  • A panther sighting and an earthquake

  • Practice with the camera before bringing it out! And don't scare off the panther!

  • 200 might be a low number some are claiming.

  • What trail in big cypress was this?

  • this is howpeople get hurt! watch out for the pigs.. the panther is a pussy cat by comparison.

  • There is a reason that its running away from people

  • @moviesforrandy There used to be 100 and now there are 160.

  • @amazinganimalvideos should be close to 200 soon

  • @amazinganimalvideos still low numbers

  • i wish they could make a comeback.

  • This is so awesome. You guys are lucky, lucky! Such beautiful, amazing animals.

  • Since they've been crossbreeding panthers in Florida for more then a decade. You could say that there is no more Florida panther, only hybrids. That is splitting hairs and what these two saw is as real as you're gonna get and an awesome, important sighting. Also, Florida panthers tend to be darker, especially in their hind quarters like the subject here.

  • long tail = panther

  • Bobcat.

  • thats not a real florida panther thats one of the big cats they brought to mix breed them to increase the population....iev seen a few hunting and only one real flirda panther and it didnt have a collar.....but still there both very beautiful in person.

  • @superoggor I do admit it is a terrible shame that we have to cross bread because theres not enough to actually sustain the population, but if we didnt do this there wouldnt be any kind of florida panther =/

  • TOOOOOOOO CLOSE!!!!! wow... it seemed to be a very dark color?! was it darker then normal?
