coolio, i didnt do it by ear, but i like your version. i did mine wayyyy to fassttt, but i was trying to cram it all into 2 minutes because my camera only records up to 2 min for some reason... lol. :)
It's a keyboard, but it's a really nice one, so it sounds pretty good. About a year ago I got a new one (a Yamaha YDP-223) that's even better, but this video's older than that.
Well, it's not my first. I have a bunch more, too, that I haven't gotten around to recording, and most of my others are way better. And since the comments have irked me, I've gotten a more "real" version down. And my songs with music are way better, but that kinda goes without saying.
It gets wrong 00:32 and its no quite good but ... if you keep in practice u gonna be great ... uhu one more thing try to play it on the correct rithym ok ?? that a bit good ... but not finish yet ... nice Job but you upload the video too early ( should learn it proply first ...
:) keep going dude...
sorry but its just my opnion maybe it should help you with the others song ...
No, I don't mind criticism, I'm open. You're one of the few people on YouTube who actually say constructive stuff. I would work on it, but it's not really something that's a top priority, so this is probably the best it's gonna be. Plus, one of the other comments gave me the real chord progression, and I've gotten other info, so there's really not a whole lot left to figure out. But I'll keep it up here just for fun.
Okay, no problem. I was just banging around with no particular goal here, so I understand that it's not nearly as good as it could be. But whatever, I did it by ear, so I figured I'd stick it on YouTube.
Note: Don't forget to sustain the melody line. (right pedal... lift up pedal quickly half way through melody) Btw, Correct original version Key C, which you played. You may have heard this in other key changes, which is okay, but the orignal was locked keys of C,Dm,Em,F, but still considered C, because tonic tone is C.
You can play any song on the piano, all you have to do is match the melody line with the tones and notes. You can play any song on any instrument that carries full scales. This is what he means by playing the ear, he matched the tone he heard with the key-tone on the piano.

It sounds really different in that key, but yeh its suppose to be on C, but very well done by ear :D

...It was in the key of C... But whatever, I kinda did my own thing with the left hand, so that might have (most likely) messed it up.

That's pretty good for your first song by ear. I couldn't do that. That's really good. The rythym's pretty on from what I can tell. Keep it up.

Oh, heh, that's neat. Not to burst your bubble, though, but we got a new one last Mothers' Day (2007). But that is kinda cool.

Nice! Particularly being able to play by ear!

I didn't know it was possible to play that song on the piano! But that's just me, being naive...

Sounds good to me! Geneva used to sing that A LOT during play rehearsal in Alice.

I don't remember that... Doesn't surprise me, though. Fuzzy's weird like that. I've never known the words. Except to the chorus.
