Hello Andrew - I'm new to LF photography - I have an oooold Graflex which I plan to use this year... Thanks for the explaining the movements of the Titan, very helpful.
I extended the friction held section too far here, normally I would use the rack and pinion focussing section at the front and reserve the centre section for extreme situations.
I was doing the demonstration and the filming at the same time and should have paid more attention to the camera.
The front is pretty steady (I don't think you can use the word rigid about any field camera) and I have been very pleased with it. Hope this helps. A.S.
How much does it cost?

Nicely presented Mike. Thank you. It answers all my questions. (Saved as a favourite for referral to others.)

Very good and practical review Andrew. I take it that this camera functions the same way as 45XL bar the obvious difference in size?
I like that the bak does not have any movements - much steadier that way.

As far as I am aware, it functions the same as its smaller version, though I have not used one. A.S.

how rigid is the front standard? seems to have a bit of play at extension.
