    For straddles, we ask the girls to stretch against the wall, do frogs, other related stretches (for hips and legs); then apply resistive stretching. Final static stretching to the limits is most effective after all muscles have been fully stretched...

  • I was wondering about the last stretch they did what is the longest amount of time you could hold ur legs like that?

    There are several girls in our class who can overstraddle quite a bit. They can hold that position for minutes, as it doesn't really stress them. However, at the most extreme position (not shown in the video), they like to hold it for about a minute at a time.

    Depends on the stretcher, but could be several minutes.
