  • the rock????

  • I would bet you would see better results by following the diet plan and doing ZERO exercise than by doing the program and not following the diet.

It is sad that so many people will spend the 120+ hours busting their asses doing the exercise but wont spend another 2 hours to figure out how to use the diet plan and then basically 0 more hours to just stay on it.

  • @RockAtAllCosts Diet only benefits aren't external so they skip it. Let's face it, everyone just wants to get women with this.

  • @cursedswordsman yes most people believe that the benefits of diet are not external. and all of the people who believe that are wrong. Try getting a 6 pack by just doing crunches. Do crunches until you literally crack in half. It will NEVER work unless your diet is right. In fact you can get a 6 pack just by reducing your body fat % without doing a single crunch.

  • well i kind of am sticking 2 the nutrion plan, i dont eat bad fatty foods, i stick 2 a high protien low fat diet, my diet mainly consists of fruit, veg , skinless chicken breast, brown rice, buternut squash soup, tuna, salmon, egg white omlets, spinach scramble , and protien shakes, and some nuts.. im sure that is ok????? im 33 inch waste,,, if anyone could fine tune my diet,, thanks

  • Also, I have a black belt in tae kwon do and I recently started karate, and I think P90X is so cool and helping me with martial arts, thanks to it, I LOOK like a black belt!:):p haha

  • All so true! I had P90X and moved and couldn't find the DVDs and stuff for a while so I used just the book(I didn't have the nutrition guide either, btw,) but then I found everything else and I was so happy and my results and energy immediately changed and started happening so much faster and better!

  • @auq21 p90x isn't for slimming down, it was made to slim up, build muscle and stamina, tbh im not following the nutrition plan at all just eating what I want but eating right though, gave up soda chips and candy, but it is definatley worth it

  • im on week 8 and i havent lost any weight. i started at 174 and the lowest i have gone to was 171. it hasn't gotten higher than 174 but it just stays in between. I have lost a couple inches but that's it. i feel tired during the day i try to eat right but it is expensive to keep up with the diet plan. so what am i doing wrong?

  • @auq21 throw the scale away. follow the diet plan correctly, do the calculations correctly when figuring out how much to eat, do the workouts, and forget about the scale.

  • Low T

  • ...I would still suck seed out of you & swallow it all stud

  • you can get the nutrition plan online and the work out schedule

  • Bullshit , you don't have to follow the plan... just stay away from candy and pie and shit and just eat some fruit instead. Those meals are wasting a lot of time.

  • I am doing P90X and I do not follow the plan I just eat a lot more healthy more protein and such. Also for people who are lazy or new don't skip any workout and if you can only do half of it it's better than nothing. Wish me luck I just started.

  • @darkmasterX26 I finished 1 round of P90X 6 months ago, lost 35pounds and got in way better shape then I ever was. I started my round 2 last monday, am on day 4 today and I sincerely wish you the best of luck... it changed my life, period.

  • You're looking good, keep it up. If you're not eating right, there is no point even exercising. This is true, processed foods destroy your testosterone levels. Thats why many young men look today like fat girls.

  • or just download the plan aswell lol

  • @jakearthurs yep i got every document lolz

  • Can you replace the yoga/cardio days with running and be okay? i would much rather run for cardio then the other videos, would there be any real loss with replacing them?

  • @ToeNugget no you could gain alot more actually, i lift weights and do mui thai. do whatever you enjoy and is effective.

  • @ToeNugget yoga is there to prevent injury

  • All you really have to do is eat mostly protein and some carbs and have like 300 calorie breakfast, a 500 calorie lunch(i get a Turkey Sub on Wheat), 300 calories on snacks, and 700 calorie dinner. Then just have some commitment and stay with the workouts. Thats what i do and im doing great!

  • I have plenty of muscle, I just have to drop about 15 pounds of body fat. Cardio Cardio Cardio. :) I'm 6 foot 1 and weight at 208 with around 15% body fat. I have P90x and the Cardio that P90x has just wasn't what I was looking for. I wanted way more intense cardio. I wanted sweating my butt of cardio. I want to be soaked in sweat and know I worked out at the end of the day. Great vid btw, Nutrition is important.

  • 1800 Cail a day

  • Things are a bit different for skinny guys. I'm 6'1" and 155lbs so I need to gain weight, not lose it, but I also want to gain muscle mass and get ripped at the same time. Also it's harder for my cause I'm nearly 30. I haven't tried p90x yet but isn't it different for skinny guys? I mean, is there a plan out there best suited for skinny people?

  • I went from 230lbs to 185lbs with p90x. Used my own diet throughout the whole thing.. no crazy food plan.. but I ate decently healthy. You just have to push play and keep workout out. Eventually you get your results.

  • I have an important question.

Im 26 and used to do alot of rock climbing and damaged my spine. So i lost weight staying at home on meds for a year. Now im on the mend and im looking to put some weight back on and im finding it very hard.

My question is "will P90X help me with gaining muscle and gaining weight? or is it just for people who want to slim down?

Someone please help me as P90X looks awsome and want my body back. :(

  • hey wat if u got p90x n insanity but the problem is i barely have food wat he should i do help me plz

  • Lol bad? Im 16 i have a six pack bigger chest lats everything from it lmao how can people say it dosent work lol

  • i did p90x and lost a bit of weight but wasn't getting very good gains

i'm not saying it's a bad programme, i changed programs and have lost weight and gained a pound of muscle this week on a website called stronglifts just go with what feels right for you i hate dumbells so p90x is not 4 me

  • "you can have all the dvds, but if you dont have the plan your not going to get any results" bulshit. everyone you can get free p90x on piratebay for free. iv been using this for about 70 days and yeah im seeing some major results.

  • @DoorKnob135 I was thinking the same, lol

  • Power 90, day 58 so far. Never worked out a day in my life before. Is this diet okay? Two eggs, some lean skinless chicken bits, and a piece of whole wheat toast, breakfast. Snack is usually an apple and some low fat string cheese. Lunch is almost always lean turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomato, and whole wheat bread. Dinner, chicken or turkey, whole grain rice, maybe tuna salad with low fat mayo.

  • in reality, you could just eat healthy and make sure you follow the workout programs 100% and dont skip anything. The nutrition guide is good, but i dont like how it starts out with smaller grams of protein in the early phases then it jumps up.. i think if your trying to build muscle you need more protein than what the early phases are telling you to eat, but i really use it to steal ideas for recipes

  • This is a good video. Im using myfitnesspal and its a great way to track nutrition and calories.

  • With P90X everyone is different. It may take 2 round to get the results you want or 3 or 4 or even 5 rounds to get the results you want. The thing is you have to be consistent and really have to bring it. For me, I have a slow metabolism. Its going to take me more than 1 round to get what I want. For Tony if you check out his interviews his job isn't just for you to just do 90 days, but to make a lifestyle change. Also nutrition is most important if you eat crap it won't work.

  • im 14 in meh shape i have alot of muscle with fat over it ;P im thinking of doing the muscle workout and the day between workouts like chest and back + plyometrics in the same day. plus a run. i figure if i can play 3 hockey games in a day i can do this. with the right diet is there a problem with this? i dont have 90 days to do it with rep basbeall and all other stuff

  • I've been doing P90X for 4 weeks and have only lost 3 pounds. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong and I can't stand no physical features. I follow the diet plan like the Bible and I have never skipped a work out. Im so discouraged and don't know what to do!!!! :'(

  • You get what you put into your workout. If you workout at 50% effort your not going to get the body you want as fast, but if you go all out everyday then you will see results faster. Also eat lots of protein and eat healthy food and try to avoid protein supplements.

  • Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for this video. I have been doing P90X for 34 days and I have not lose much weight. To be honest for me is pretty hard to follow the nutritional plan basically because as College student my budget is limited, so im trying to get healthier food than I used to, Im eating fiber cereal, grilled chicken, 2% milk, 98% of the liquids I consume is water, vegtables and fruits...and I just started with the protein shakes for the second stage of the program..

  • ...the biggest difference that I notice is that I could not do any pull-ups, now I do around 10 and I feel stronger. I just wanna know if im doing the best that I can with my limmited budget or If you could give me a good advice. Once again thank you..

  • i just count calories and it helps! i do eat complex carbs and n e food dat has nutritional value! not empty calories... or simple carbs luv it!

  • eat 1325 calories a day and i have a heart and calorie monitor i wear when i work out or do cardio... so if i burn 600 to a 1000 working out i'll add it to my 1325 and it allows me to eat more and so far i've lost 15lbs in a month and a week, i was at 189 and now i'm at 174.... i just started p90x on mon and feel so sore and i use the fitness calorie counter which is a huge help.... my goal weight is 160 and i wanna get cut so i'm really excited!

  • I have a question about diet. Im on Phase 3- i eat a cup of oatmeal, 2 bananas, 8 oz. milk. Snack- Banana, Apple, 2 whole wheat pita bread, with 4 slices of 1% fat turkey slices. Lunch- 4 oz Whole Wheat Pasta or Spaghetti with tomato sauce, veggies. Pre Workout, a pear, Post- Cliff Protein Bar, RD (12oz milk, banana, pear, apple). Dinner- 4 oz. Whole grain rice or potatoes with 8-10 ounces of chicken breast, tuna, or beef. I am not seeing results as i hope for and im on day 66, any help?

  • @mrbee1994 how many calories is all of that a day? You might try cutting one of those serving of carbs out. Also you want to get in between 20-30 grams of protein after your workout. Don't know how much that cliff bar has. Even though your body probably can't take that much in, I have been told by many people it is better to have a little too much protein then not enough after your workout. My diet is on my website.

  • @RichGizzie Well, I eat in total around 3000 calories, but i eat 2800 to 2900 calories. I'll try cutting back on my serving of carbs and see how that goes. After my workout i get 20 grams of protein in a cliff bar and 15 grams of protein in my RD, so im getting up there for my recovery. What it the range for cutting on a serving of carb? Thanks RichGizzie

  • @mrbee1994 u have very little protein and way too many carbs. that is all.

  • @mrbee1994 WAY too many carbs

  • hey richie dont know if your gonna check this but check your email bro my email is

    cmhoward09@ymail.com thanks

  • Ya I take creatine 2 times a day and I take my whey protein in the morning and also before my workout and after.. Basicly I take it 3 times a week.. Well except on my yoga day I only take it in the morning and my recovery protein after my workout. The creatine I take it once in the morning and after my workout with the recovery protien. On my resting day I just take protein once in the morning.. But I'm feeling discourge cause Im on day 39 & have only lost 5lbs I still have alot of my stomach!!

  • @P90XAREYOUREADY How many calories are you taking in a day? I posted my diet on my new website. I can't put the link here but if you google. Ripped Fit Life you will find it.

  • @RichGizzie Well I'm taking in at least 2400 calories a day.. Like I staying below that sometimes I'll take in 2200 or 2300 or 1800 its mostly always under 2400 calories I'm eating pretty healty like for breakfast I either have 5 egg whites with 2 slices of turkey bacon or half a cup with oatmeal with organic honey and cininmion or an organic pj sandwitch. For lunch I have a no fat ham sandwitch. Dinner I eat a piece of meat wit almonds & v8 juice. 4 my snack I usually always have string chesse

  • he looks like THE ROCK

  • i cant afford the plan for p90x...

  • Hey bro I had a question.. Ok I'm doing p90x and I'm on day 31.. I lost a bit of weight but still have alot of my stomach.. I eat really healthy almost everything organic.. I bought some supplements to help me get a bit more muscle.. Protein and creatine when should I take them? How many times a day? I know I should probley drink it 2 times a day once before my workout and once after. Idk I need some help I'm just concered about alot of things

  • @P90XAREYOUREADY I don't take creatine but I am thinking about starting it for round 3. I think you take it twice a day. As far as protein...if you are working out a lot you should eat it through the day. 1 gram per 1.5lbs of body weight. If you have a protein shake, drink it within 30 minutes of working out. 30-40grams should be a good amount. You body absorbs it faster right after working out. Hope this helps

  • My suggestion, bit torrents.

  • No pro but Im about 3 weeks in. I started, I am not droppin weight but I am getting slimmer and bulkier. I eat healthier though, lotta chicken and yogurt then some pasta. tunafish but not alot of mayo (dont eat everyday) and a glass of milk after my workout. I sac lunch at work a bigger meal and sneek a small bag of doritos once in a while. I can say that it is working already. I know its not optimal, being a single guy I dont like spending tons of time in the kitchen.. Crock pots are awesome!

  • @2stage90 Good job man! I am single also and know what you mean about being in the kitchen. I sometimes eat lean cuisines at work. Sort of a lot of salt but it is still pretty good and quick.

  • @RichGizzie Wow. Stay away from the Lean Cuisine, folks! Anything that is designed to resist natural breakdown (preservatives like salt prevent spoiling) is going to be harder for your body to digest. Don't eat anything canned or with an expiration date farther than one month!

  • @DadsWithAbs Totally agree with you! I have been making changes to the diet to improve it. But it takes time to do a 180 degree turn. I have since replaced that with left overs from the night before. Before I was eating taco bell, mcdonalds, etc. So I am just about where I want to be now with diet.

  • @RichGizzie Good for you, man! I used to work as a courier and I'd eat at Jack in the Box, McDonalds or anywhere that I could get in, get out and save a few dollars. Unfortunately, that's the story for just about everyone who uses a drive-through. Not enough time to prepare a nutritious meal or not enough money to do so. It takes an effort at first but when you start seeing results then you realize it's not as hard as you thought and the next thing you know, you've done it and you'd do it again!

  • Eat a lot of Peanut butter sandwiches everyday and whole grain bread...AND lift Heavier weights...at rep 8,9, and 10 you should be spent:) GOOD LUCK

  • I"M just kidding thought dude lol. anyways i've gotten a testosterone check and mine fell in the low average.. 388. the numbers were from 211- 880. I think i should be able to receive some kind of hormone treatment, because if we were talkign about money, how can someone with 211 dollars be equal to someone with 880? also what if i registered 210,then i'd be able to get hormones? but ifi was 211 they'd say o its fine, you're normal.

  • ohhhh so this guy wants to use words like "NUTRITION"... i'm not a big fan of that word. Just say not following what they should eat.

  • Do you have any tips for guys in school? I'm a senior in high school and the lunch room food is all garbage.

  • @eternalending You probably should bring you owe lunch. hard boiled eggs, chicken breast, yogurt, fruit cups, etc, Salad maybe. Or if you can afford shaekology that would be good to have at lunch as well. Don't know what you are trying to do though. Loose or gain weight. But either way you will probably have to bring lunch.

  • @RichGizzie hey, lke the other guy that commented. im a senior in H.S. too.i just got p90x only problem is...I find that its only for people whowant to lose weight . I only want to gain weight because im not big. would you reccomend this for me? Im was asked to model for a major company...im just to skinny now...i weigh about 165 and im 6'2'' . I need to look just like the people on an abercrombie ad or better. thank you so much for the help!!

  • @fanofjapanandmusic Just up your calories. Make sure you are eating clean though. Chicken breast, tuna, fat free yogurt, hard boiled eggs, veggies, fruit, oatmeal, etc. You might think about going to GNC to get some weight gainer. Ask the sale person for help. Try to stay away from ones that have a lot of sugar. It is hard to gain when you are young and have a fast metabolism...but it can be done. Later in life you will love having that problem. I was just like that.

  • @eternalending hey buddy, im a senior in high school too,and i eat the salades, they taste like shit, but hey, thats what i do

  • You don't have to eat protein bars or shakes. But you need to eat protein of some sort. I am not a huge meat eater so it is easier for me.

  • does it involve a lot of protein bars or shakes? i can't consume that stuff.

  • Check out my nutrition video I have on my channel.

  • No I am not 100% strict to the plan. I pretty much cut out all carbs until I got to the weight I wanted and slowly added them back. The book I was on the level 2 fat shredder until I got below 175lbs and then I switched to the level three energy one. I don't like cooking that much at all. if you look at my nutrition video it is all pretty easy. I only cook one meal at night either chicken or fish. I tried to make enough for lunch the next day.

  • So by sticking by the nutrition guide do you mean just go by the portion approaches that they set forth in the manual. Or did you mean make every meticulous recipe that they have in the booklet. Because I was thinking of doing shakeology since I get up early to go to school and work, but Ive been looking at quick things to eat without having to do alot as far as preparation to cook, and cooking in general.

  • My other video goes over what I eat. I am going to make another one. It is hard at first to stick with the plan but after about a month it becomes a lot easier. Also I am on Shakeology which is a huge help with staying on the plan. It helps curbs my sweet tooth!

  • Yeah I didn't follow the plan. I find it very confusing. How do you use it??? I better step it up for round 2.

  • Yes I do cheat a little bit on the weekends. But I look at it as more of a reward to sticking with during the week. With that said I still look for the healthy options when I go out to eat. Meals under 500 calories and I also go for MGD 64 or Bud select 55 if I can fine them

  • Do you ever cheat with eating (not counting the beers)? If you followed the diet plan mon-fri and then kinda cheated on sat/sun, would it still work? It's really really hard to eat "perfectly" for 90 days, especially if you love food like me lol...good video btw!

  • Haha the second I saw the title of this video I was coming to comment that the people not seeing results probably aren't following a good nutrition plan, you have to remember people that getting ripped is 60% nutrition 40% training and after that building muscle is 50%nutrition and 50% training, muscle cannot build without good nutrition and it can't build without training no matter how hard you train.

  • If you follow the meal plan and don't skip workouts it is almost impossible to not see results unless you have a serious medical condition.

  • Yup. Yup. Yup.

  • good info
