  • @moremustardblog Hi there... This not an actual video - it's a filler, extracted from the "Picture Show" VHS.

  • Great song, thanks for sharing!

  • @MuchLikeDying u r welcome, thanks for watching :)

  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SONG!!

  • The video is completely out of sync with the audio. Completely.

  • @moremustardblog That's how the video was in the laser disk where I took it off. Is not a live version, it's a kind of thing between songs.

  • @luacrobat Cool. It's a fantastic song. Tx for posting!

  • @moremustardblog u r welcome, thanks for watching :)

  • @moremustardblog Sorry for my english.

  • @moremustardblog probably because it's not supposed to be a 'proper' clip, I'd say it was more in keeping with the bits between the singles on videos such as Staring at the Sea - The Visuals and The Cure - Picture Show.

One of my favourite tracks by the Cure, this.

  • @ghaladgwaith In fact I think it is off Picture Show, right?

  • @moremustardblog Some twat is completely a twat. Completely

  • @moremustardblog yeah, it's from a bootleg copy of 'play out.' i got burned buying it back in 1991 or so thinking there was finally a live version of harold and joe. i forget the name of the boot.

  • @moremustardblog This video is from Picture Show, a compilation VHS released in 1990. It's not supposed to be in sync as the audio was layered over a compilation of video taken while the Cure were on tour.

  • great B-side....for some reason i think he's making fun of people like Morrissey in the lyrics.

  • Love it. Used to listen to it on a daily basis ages ago. Thumbs up.

  • .........freakin awesome track.............

  • This is hilarious! They are probably playing Never Enough while we get the Harold and Joe sound... very creative!

  • yep, longest night of great straight MAKING OUT to this b~side of "Never Enough" ~oh, to be 19 again!

  • awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love it when Robert sings in his lower register :)

  • The Cure Picture Show and The Cure Play Out on DVD/Blu-Ray NOW please!!!

  • we hear this music in mexico city breaking the bourder of lenguaje . just amazing band the cure forever ...

  • Thank you again, what a great video

  • I'm on my knees...thank you

  • Got this one on some EP/CD. Always loved this song. Massive Cure fan from day one. Only Cure song I still listen to. Used to know Lawrence Tolhurst a bit way back when. Been years. No clue where he is these days. Sad how a band so influential in their heyday becomes so completely irrelevant in a flash. Guess I'm showing my age. Oh well. ;-)

  • @Zippy994 on no so still relevant i work with youth and they know the cure..... still pack concerts and I remember them from the start too

  • This is probably my favorite Cure b-side. I am now wondering if it should have been an actual record...maybe the "extra" track on Mixed Up or a different mix on Wish.

  • THIS IS REAL MUSIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • just great 8-)

  • Good song!

  • This is from a VHS video called Picture Show, it was between the promos for the new 'Close To Me', and 'Never Enough' I think, I could be wrong, I can't be arsed to look...

  • wasn't there a song that had a similar beat like this??

  • Always liked this one. Sortof hypnotic. ;)

  • finally a decent download of this song been waiting 15 years since i lost the video of picture show thanks to whoever did it tighty

  • love how the video is not this song

  • <3 A Cure song only real fans would know <3

  • ♥the cure♫

  • Did sum 1 say Simon in stead of Robert...The Cure...rules...PeAcE...

  • Finally someone posted this song...thanks!

  • Definitely one of Simon's best keyboard riffs.

  • 1990/91 was a really awesome time for the cure. such a good lineup.

  • the side b of one of my favorites long plays.ever

  • sûr suprime les meilleurs vidéos donc new album rob

  • I just love the feel of this song! The lyrics are to live by!! A perfect song for sure!! Wonderful!! The Cure forever!! ♥

  • if i look at the sun i just turn up the sound...

i wrote down the part about "nothing ever loses me sleep. nothing ever wins my heart" and put it on my fridge. it helps me not care so much.

keep things out. keep the cure in.

oh, and i think this footage/song was on the picture show video. i also had it on a b-side (when they had those)

  • This is from the video tape of Cure promos before DVD. The first was called 'Standing On The Beach' and coincided with the CD 'Staring at the Sea', which had all the videos from the earliest up to the Head On The Door stuff, with bits between promos. The second vid tape was called 'Picture Show' and started with 'Why Can't I Be You?' and ended with 'Never Enough', and this was one of the inbetween bits between promos. Another tape, called Playout was also released and I want to see it again...

  • Now this is an awesome find!! I am so loving this !! OMG!! I cant believe how gorgeous Robert is here. That man just melts my heart! He is such a love!! Oh how I love him and The Cure!! The Cure are truly amazing and so very awesome!! Always loved them, always will!! The Cure forever and always!! :) ♥

  • This is just so amazing!! So very awesome!! It is very catchy indeed!!! Robert looks amazingly gorgeous here!! Wow!! LOVE IT!!! ♥ The Cure are truly phenomenal!! I have loved them for a lifetime. A true gem to the music world- timeless band!! :)) The Cure forever my friends!! ♥♥

  • I love this one since it was released but I was never able to get it as at that time it was beyond my reach (student´s budget); I remember it came as the B side of Never Enough Single.

  • Never heard this before but I must say it`s quite delightful.

  • this song is so under-rated....

  • Who are Harold and Joe? Are those names just there for lyrical convenience?

  • @SweetSweetWaldo According to Join the Dots, Harold and Joe were characters on a TV show called "Neighbours", Harold Bishop and Joe Mangel. Simon liked watching the show, thats all I know. I have never seen this show because 1) I am from Canada and 2) I am 17 years old:)

  • @Skellington383 Thanx! I need to get "Join the Dots." I've been a Cure fan since 1985. Some of their best songs were b-sides and rarities. "Sugar Girl" is another big favorite of mine!

  • thank you :)

  • If any song can be described as 'uplifting', this is that. Is those. Is these. Is them. Is this. OCD? I think so.

  • The best cure song

  • Thank you thank you thank you for this video, my favorite song from the cure!!!

  • Loved this song!
