  • I felt like "eye" was on a toadstool.

  • i know it's disgusting

  • this is weird and i don't understand this freaky frog song

  • @juliafun01 This is a metaphor of the children's story when an evil witch transforms the prince into a frog. Hence the line in the song "this is royal blood running thru my skin."

So, once the princess kisses the frog he'll turn back into a prince, notice at the end of the video he's himself again. This would of course be "post" kiss from the aforementioned princess. Hope that helps.

  • Peter, you are one crazy sumbitch and I love you. :D

  • 'Can't you hear beyond the croaking, don't you know that I'm not joking?'

  • 1:08 Ew... thats one hell of a bush, and I ain't talkin about the forest. But with the size of that thing, it might as well be a forest.

  • This Music Video won an award for Best Special Effects at MTV awards 1994.

  • the ugliest frog ever

  • if it turned into peter gabriel i would kiss that frog;)

  • bloody hell....this is freaky but i adore this song!!:):):):)

  • What great visuals! Way to go, Brett! And Mara is so beautiful!

  • I love the old CGI animation in this video. So nostalgic!

  • Thumbs up for Peter Gabriel's love to water.

  • Im afraid to smoke and watch this..........

  • sweet vid

  • Figata !!!

  • LOL, When I heard this song for the first time I head "he's all puffed up" as "he's all f--ked up".

  • This should be on the Princess & the Frog soundtrack.

  • I wonder if this video inspired any of the environments in American McGee's Alice.

  • Love this song! The video reminds me of "Human Behavior" by Bjork

  • This video was directed by Brett Leonard, who directed The Lawnmower Man in 1992 and Virtuosity in 1995.

  • This version was done for the Rock Motion Theater I saw it on June 28, 1993 and Peter was there.. Very kewl ride...

  • Awesome video.

  • Someone should make a "Princess & The Frog" music video of this song.

  • Who is the girl - she is stunning.

  • whoaaaa..... tripppppyy...

  • @ilikemonkeysss like all gabriel videos

  • I wish he'd do an updated video for this - the CGI is outdated. The song, especially this version, is amazing.

  • @Snowkitten707 Why don't you make a better video then and post it up then douchebag? Or you could just shut the fuck up. Either way.....

  • The video was made for the Pepsi Rock Motion Theatre.

  • I believe this is the IWerks version. IWerks had a simulator ride (two seat motion platform) that was basically a 3 axis motion ride set to this video. The ride was called Mind Blender (or something like that). Not avail as a single.

  • that video is wild

  • I remember this video being shown on the Chart Show on ITV back in the early 90's. How can this be off a laserdisc from the 80's when the track was released in 1993?

  • There a few versions of this.I've got the album version. the album version (edit), the 7" single radio edit version and the CD versions etc plus the Mindblender re-mix (edit)..............but FFS i DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS VERSION IS..........

  • This version is from laser disc. form the 80s. Is rare.

  • @NineSteinAV This song didn't come out in the 80's haha 1993ish is when the album this came out on was released. I remember it well, it was on a bonus CD-rom. And Pepsi did some kind of 3D experience with this song and video to push/promote their new Pepsi Clear soda But yeah you are thinking of a CD-rom not a laser disc ;) Which in the early 90's was kind of a new thing.

  • @Bow1elow ahhh the 90s. Where every artist/group had to have atleast 2 or 3 songs that had a million radio versions! :o)

  • @Bow1elow In the early 90s there was also Peter Gabriels Mindblender - video ride that toured the country. I vaguely remember going to it as a child - this video played and you sat in chairs that moved to the motions of the frog.

  • @Bow1elow this video mix here is the "Mindblender Mix" by William Orbit (not the long Mindblender-mix from the CD-single).

  • when was this awesome song made?? :P

  • thanks for suggesting that :D

  • Does anyone know where I can get this version of the song? It's not the album version there's more guitars etc.

  • I seen this trippin ballz @ Woodstock 94' in a hydrolic motion booth. I will never be tha same!?!

  • I found this music video in an episode of Beavis and Butthead called closing time.

  • this is crazy

  • Just a matter of time before someone makes a Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" AMV set to this song. ; )

  • Awesome!

I almost forgot what real music sounds like!

Make sure to watch this video with earphones.
