That is what Islam Teaches us, god claimed in the Quran (not quoting) that , it isn't necessary for Muslim to go to Heaven NOR A Christian. He said everyone with his doings you know. Whatever christians believed about Jesus origins before Paul came along, noone knows. What we DO know is that the movement was pretty diverse from the very beginning. Some probably believed he was just a prophet, others probably believed he was god incarnate. We will never know.
