Well I must be the odd ball cause I got bad acne when I hit 17/18 and Proactiv didn't work at all for me and birth control made me break out everywhere on my face. You have to get the right birth control for you in order for it to work. Everyone is different, everyone doesn't have the same skin. So she can give you advice but if it doesn't work its not that she is wrong its just your skin might be different.
oh plus i really recommend getting a tan. dont burn but a good tan (and then moisturize) is very good for drying out oil and drawing blackheads from the skin. biore pore strips are ideal for the nose area blackheads! one of the best products ive ever tried! drink aloooot of clean fresh water! water clears toxins and washes out the body. oh i forgot to mention, i used differen xp (just like her) and it does work! PRO ACTIV IS PERFECT !! A MUST TRY!

Umm birth control I wouldn't recommend but there are acne pills out there that are meant specifically for acne even for the younger people like age 12 and stuff. and I tried benzaclin once but I found it dried my skin up way too much so stuck to a routine that got me my clear skin and it's just using a only natural face mask once a week and using this French cleanser called la rose posay I think that's how it's spelled :P it smells like apples :D

@Babypuncher260 Hi! Well, I think the first thing to take into account would be your age. I'm not sure how old you are, but my acne first appeared when I was about 13. It got REALLY bad when I was 14- I mean, REALLY BAD. I went to the dermatologist and everything and just nothing worked. I'm 20 now and still prone to the occasional break out, but I use Wexler. Her line is really pricey, but her anti-acne stuff is THE BEST I have ever used.

I have really bad acne... and I have tried almost everything! I have oily skin and i DO NOT have sensitive skin, I am using Biore's pore unclogging clenser and exfoliating wash and Tea tree blemish cleansers from The Body Shop... my acne is getting worse but my pores are starting to breathe more. I've used this product for a long time now and at first it was great! I felt like my acne was dissapearing but now i have more pimples and im getting more pimples along with blackheads and spots

It helps balance hormones.
I'm not a 'slut' or anything else, but it's what the doctor reccomended.
Of course I wouldn't use it for it's ACTUAL purpose, god no.
But for balnacing hormones and helping acne, it's brilliant.

thanks so much. i have bad acne and it feels really good to find somone that went throught it and actually understands. u have no idea how much this video means to me! it inspired me to keep trying. the funny part is that i use differin too, but mine got worse when i used it, also i use th benzymin stuff too

@GossipGirlxoxo212 i was on the pill at 14, it doesn't help so much, but the things she's saying with washing face and such that all works, but the pill nah, it messes withyour hormornes and oculd even make it worse

@Babypuncher260 Hi! Well, I think the first thing to take into account would be your age. I'm not sure how old you are, but my acne first appeared when I was about 13. It got REALLY bad when I was 14- I mean, REALLY BAD. I went to the dermatologist and everything and just nothing worked. I'm 20 now and still prone to the occasional break out, but I use Wexler. Her line is really pricey, but her anti-acne stuff is THE BEST I have ever used.

@Babypuncher260 if you don't wanna take birth control, prenatal vitamins (the ones u take when you're prego) help A LOT with clearing skin because it gives u all the vitamins u are missing in your body and missing nutrients sometimes add to acne, and being a teenager (i'm assuming, sorry if i'm wrong) you don't always have all the vitamins you need

If you want your face to clear up. Try investing in good skin care. ClearCalm 3 step (well 4 with the mask) by Ren is a great range. Its pricey, but not to bad. Cheap products = Cheap ingredients (usually)

I have really bad acne... and I have tried almost everything! I have oily skin and i DO NOT have sensitive skin, I am using Biore's pore unclogging clenser and exfoliating wash and Tea tree blemish cleansers from The Body Shop... my acne is getting worse but my pores are starting to breathe more. I've used this product for a long time now and at first it was great! I felt like my acne was dissapearing but now i have more pimples and im getting more pimples along with blackheads and spots

@oNeOFthESoluTiOn Try Johnson & Johnson purpose cleanser(it's light yellow and square), exfoliate with Equate exfoliating scrub(cheap) and use Noxema blackhead cleanser on your T-zone(nose, forehead, chin etc) and use an oil-free moisturizer(Clean&Clear works well). This works awesome! Good luck! If you try it, on the days that your skin feels dry, don't use the Noxema.
