  • really nice plane...that's gonna be my next collection soon.can u fly that with a dx5e transmitter?thanks in advance.

  • @katimamolelo - Hi there Kat and thanks for posing. The T-28 is still one of my favorite plankers. I am pretty sure you can bind it to the DX5e but have not tried it myslef. My understanding is it will bind to any DSM/DSMx radio. Good luck and happy flying!

  • WOW i never saw a rc plane box!!! thats HUGE!!! i just saw the video cuz the word trojan got my atention XD

  • @josefranciscocool - Hi there Jose and thanks for posting. Hahah! Yeah, imagine how big the box would have been if it came assembled! Have a great day and happy flying.

  • Thank you most kindly for posting this. My brother just got me this for Christmas and your video(s) are very helpful. You also give a great presentation.

  • @Rikki0 - Hi there Rikki and thanks for posting. Congratulations on your T-28! I am sure you will love this bird! It takes a bit of getting used to the higher stall speed, but once you do, this is one sweet plane. Be sure to post a maiden flight video! Have a wonderful holiday and happy flying!

  • Hey would you suggest this as a plane for someone that had flown The ParkZone: Radian or is there a plane that I should fly before.

  • @fatmannelson100 - Hi there and thanks for posting. Since you have experience with a plane with ailerons, you should have no problem with this one. It is a fast and agile bird and I am sure you will enjoy. Good luck with your choice and post a maiden flight video when you decide! Have a great day and happy flying!

  • I want this plane so bad!

  • @UltraMicroFlyyer - Hi UltraMicroFlyyer and thanks for posting. This is an exciting plane to fly for sure. I have only flown a Super Cub LP and this plane so far. The Super Cub was great to learn on, but this one is much more challenging to fly! If your are comfortable with fast flying and higher speed landings, this is your baby! If you get one, be sure to post a maiden flight video! Good luck and happy flying!

  • @georgesjunglerc I tried to learn on the mini super cub and it broke the first flight! I was able to get the hobbyzone champ and I learned on that. I have Parkzone's ultra micro t-28 and it flies like a dream! Its extremely easy to fly, the only thing is if theres much wind its a little harder to control, but besides that its my favorite plane!

  • @UltraMicroFlyyer - Hi again. If you can handle the UMs, you will love the stability of the larger T-28. Be sure to post a video if you get one!

  • How long do you think this would last on my 1300 batteries? I have a bunch from my wildcat.

  • @fireblade4727 - Hi there Fireblade! The 2200's I used lasted about 7-8 minutes of light flying or about 5-6 minutes of heavy flying. I would imagine you would get around 3 minutes on 1300's at best. Good luck and let me know how you made out.

  • @georgesjunglerc ok, thanks!

  • Can this work with the 3200mAh 3S 11.1V 15C and 30C Li-Po's?

  • @rdsl05 - This is a good question, unfortunately I am not sure of the correct answer. I use the 1800 mAh batteries that came with the RTF version, and purchased 2 additional batteries when I ordered it. I can tell you the battery compartment is very tight with the 1800 mAh batteries so if the 3200 mAh batteries are bigger, you may have to make some compartment mods. Good luck and happy flying friend.

  • Another great video. Thanks!

  • @rcplaneflyer100 - Hi there and thanks for posting and the kind remarks. This bird is one of my favorite ones to fly and it has been a pleasure taking it up and through its paces. Great little plane! Have a great day and as always, happy flying friend.

  • do u know how to take a slot off of ur dx6i?

  • @steveoh2395 - Hi there! I don't think you can delete a slot on the DX6i. All you can do is "clear" the data in the slot (clearing the name, setting all values to what ever default you want. HTH!

  • Can You Add Flaperons How Much?

  • @MrJED698 - Hi there and thanks for posting. I think I recall a video on someone adding flaperons to the the T-28 but have not done it myself. I am sure you can find the video if you search. Good luck and happy flying!

  • Can You Add Flaperons

  • would you consider this as a 2end plane from a 3 channel plane to this plane?

  • @thechickboy1 - Hi there and thanks for posting. I would most certainly say this is the next progression up from a trainer. I had the Super Cub LP as my trainer, and this was my second plane. It was a little more difficult to fly, but nothing I could not handle. You will be surprised at how maneuverable the T-28 is compared to a 3 channel. Have a great day and happy flying friend!

  • Hey im getting mine tomorrow!!

  • @PlaneFlyyer - Congratulations!!! I am sure you will love this plane. Have a great day and good luck with the build and maiden flight!

  • @georgesjunglerc Wheres your videos at?? (You havent uploaded any recently)

  • @PlaneFlyyer - I live in NE Ohio. Otherwise know as the FROZEN TUNDRA! ;) Some of the younger pilots get out there in this freezing weather, but us old folk... Stay in and fly the Sim! Heheh. Now that the holidays are over, I am going to start my 450 build finally! Look for some new build videos soon! Thanks for posting and have a great day!

  • I just got my T-28 D about 3 hours ago...took me 1 hour to get it together it was easy except for the nose gear i couldn't get the screw to turn...i just glued it in place how hard was it for u ?

  • @flyingchimp99 - Don't feel bad, it was a pain for me as well. The first time, i stripped out the head of the screw and had to get a replacement screw. I finally got it tight enough on the flat section of the gear to keep it in place. No doubt if I crash, it will move. CA Glue sounds like a good idea!

  • but still everyone says its a good trainer

  • @flyingchimp99 - I can testify it is a great trainer plane. It is only 3 channel and is intended for nubies. More importanly, I had a blast flying it which made it more than worth what I paid for it. Not having anything to reference it to, it was loads of fun to learn on.

  • I dont get it the super cub LP sucks.....no ailerons..........thats important!!!! THE LP has a taildrager....thats not good tricycle system is the best

  • hahahahaha........brain fart

  • @flyingchimp99 - Heheh! It happens to the best of us. ;)

  • Hey George, i was wondering how you attached the tail elevator end of the Trojan to the plane.

  • @rcplanesofma24 - Hi there. The vertical stabilizer was already attached to the fuselage, the horizontal stabilizer just slides into the fuselage and is held in with two pieces of tape. Nothing to it.

  • @georgesjunglerc Thanks George. Did you just use regular scotch tape, and how did you put the tape on, and did it ruin the paint job,

thanks, and i love ur videos

  • @rcplanesofma24 - Hi! It came with some clear tape, but it looked like regular scotch tape to me. I have never had to peel it off, but would imagine it would take some of the foam, but the foam is colored grey, not painted so it might not show. ;) I have crashed mine a few times, and had to gorilla glue it, and it repairs well. Hope this helps friend. Have a great day and happy flying.

  • Nice review!! Fun plane to fly too!!!!

  • Hi. George. I don't mean to be rude but you made a tiny mistake with the motor. You called the motor a 48- brushless 30 AMP esc. Everything is correct except for 30 amp. the motor uses a 30AMP ESC. but that doesn't mean the motor is 30 amps. the motor is a 480 brushless. I hope i'm not sounding rude I just wanted to correct you, and it's ok because I do stuff like this all the time.

    Pilotsofer

  • @Pilotsofer Hey dude! Thanks, and you are correct... Just another brain fart. I try to follow earthlings example and don't script anything, just do it off the cuff. That leads to mistakes, but hey, I am only human. ;) In any case, I stand corrected! Thank you friend. I will do a annotation to correct it on the video. ;)

  • @georgesjunglerc no problem. yea i'm going to try to do scripted stuff with my futre reviews because i forget a lot of important stuff which leads to mistakes. I don't blame you. Remember, the smarter one is the one who learns from his mistakes. :)

    Happy flying!

    Pilotsofer

  • @Pilotsofer - Thanks! And you can take it to the bank, I will never call a 480 Brushless Outrunner motor a 30 Amp motor again, so I have been schooled! Thanks for taking my back!

  • @georgesjunglerc ha ha. no problem. i'm like nationwide. on your side ;)

  • nice review

  • @YourFriendlyMe - Hi and thanks! I can't wait to get out and fly it. Video coming soon. ;)

  • lol, yeah crash is right, i pick my kids up from school on my days off, and thats what i tell them "we're going to go crash for a little while before we go home" they think its great

  • Cool airplane and great review

  • @sebasitsme - Thanks for the kind remarks friend! For me, this is just a total blast! Thanks for posting and happy flying!

  • I love ur vids. :) keep the videos coming!

  • @Pilotsofer - Thank you so much for your kind remarks. I am like a kid in a candy shop! Can't wait to go out and play, but it is too windy. :( Oh well... Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for posting friend and happy flying!

  • @georgesjunglerc You're welcome :). ha ha. I'm the same way, just wanting to fly. That's why i mostly fly glow/ nitro airplanes because they handle a little better when it comes to wind. Same to you!

P.S. the T-28 is a docile and nice flying airplane. You'll love it! I have a friend that upgraded the ESC to 60 Amps and he put a 15 size Hacker motor in it and its much faster, but the factory setup is also good.

  • @Pilotsofer - Maybe some day I will move up to glow/nitro, but for now foamys are thrill enough for me! hahah And, I think if I ever find the T-28 not powerful enough, I will just buy an EDF Jet. ;) Thanks for commenting, and happy flying friend!

  • @georgesjunglerc EDF jets are a heck of a lot of fun! the only issue is that the flight times are only about 5 minutes but that's why we stack up on batteries. happy flying to you too!

  • @georgesjunglerc I just ordered the F-27C from parkzone. i can't wait to tear up the sky with that plane! :D

  • you should get the UM when it comes out, this way its like a big brother little brother type thing lol. nice video as as always. cant wait for the flight vid! :)

  • @pieman12345678987654 - Hahah! One thing at a time... We wouldn't want my head to explode! ;) Thanks for the kind remarks and I will post as soon as the wind lets up and I get a video to upload. Happy flying friend!

  • @georgesjunglerc yeah, theres been around 30mph gusts here on the east coast because of that hurricane I think :(

  • nice model george ,cant wait to see you do the maiden.

  • @bassax7045 - Thanks! I can't wait to get out and fly it! Dang wind! ;)

  • Great video man! DROOOOOL. Congrats on your new plane. Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to seeing your next video. Good luck on the maiden flight !!! I flew my foamy biplane and my F-86 today and I got it on video so I will be posting them either later tonight or tomorrow mornng.

  • @jb102310 - Thanks friend! I can't wait to see your new videos too! Have a great one and happy flying!

  • great video man,

  • @zombienumber13 - Thanks so much! I can't wait to get out and crash... Oops... I mean fly this thing! hahahah

  • Nice! You are going to love this plane! Set your ailerons very low to begin with, until you are used to flying with them - use them to turn, not do tricks and rolls until you are stable with this plane. Once you are comfortable, you will enjoy the huge amounts of stunts this plane can do! Good luck and keep the vids coming!

  • @earthling1984 - Hi dude! I am so amped! Unfortunately, Hurricane Earl is stirring up some nasty winds even all the way out here in Ohio! I am hoping for some calm weather soon so I can go fly this thing! Do you mean set the expo on the ailerons when you say set them low?

  • @georgesjunglerc yeah, set either expo and/or dual rates. It doesn't roll super fast, but since you are new to aileron planes, you don't want to flip over and crash before you get the hang of it. So set some expo and/or DR so you don't roll super fast with it.

  • @earthling1984 - Thanks Tab! I can't wait to get out and fly!
