I believe that they are. It's a FAMILY curse. It is distrubted among members of the Sohma FAMILY. Yuki called Shigure and Kyo his cousins. The Sohma's blood relation to each other was mentioned a couple times...

It really is too bad that the anime ended so early. I was really disappointed (I had to leave the room in the middle of the last episode because I was so upset at the inaccuracy.) I loved this amv. how do you use pictures from the manga instead of anime? i want to make an amv, but would rather use the manga. I really feel sorry for akito. GREAT JOB!!!!!

Well, the anime is not exactly accurate, considering it was cut off around book six. -.-' Honestly, in my opinion, the anime is not all that good, because it leaves out quite a few characters, and the past of Akkii-chan. She's my favorite. <3

But yes, the manga is better, in my own opinion. It gives the whole story. =3

@xCrossYourH34RTx in the manga and the anime, Akkii is a woman. however, that is only revealed in volume 17 (?) which is past where the anime ends. from the beginning to the end of the series (both anime and manga) Akkii is a woman. it is simply a matter of when it is revealed to those that didn't already know.

It's fruits basket. It's an amazing series you should really pick it up. It's been the number 1 shojo manga for the past 3 years in America if not longer.

I highly recomened it, its been my favorite series for an amazingly long time. It's one you can never get tired of and reread over and over =3 the anime to it is very nicely done as well.

I really like this video.

I take it from Haru POV and it really relates to his thoughts in ways the song. With how her parents treated her how he shouted at them then to apoligize. Yet he knows that she still suffers and how things go on to his utter anger at Akito... who screams hits who deals with her own problems... I rambled I'm sorry but this had me thinking! I've watched again and again I really love it well done!!
