  • Sweet run. Is your car modded in any way? And what did you place?

  • You dave is this an auto still or 5speed? if auto how is it on the track. or was? Did you end up selling it or no? I never kept up with it.

  • it was an auto, I just put in 2nd and let it shift between 1st and 2nd. It was a small advantage cause most guys with stick will shift into 2nd and leave it there through out, so when I cam out of the 180, I could get it down into 1st and have a faster exit out of the corner. it would've been great if these cars were 5 sp autos.

I sold the car about 3 weeks ago, I miss it, but I'm getting a v8 and will more then likely autocross it as well (Y34 M45), just for shits and giggles.

  • Man I loved your car why'd you sell it. I don't think you ever listed a reason.

  • I wanted more power (and lost of interest). The original intonation was for me to get something Turbo'd and more AutoX fun (STi), but having already owned both a SC'd and turbo'd car before, I decided to just get a V8 and although the M45 will not be AutoX friendly, it will offer me the chance to be a bit more creative with my mods as there are none for these cars. Besides an M45 is just a RWD V8 Maxima ;)

  • Personally I think the m45 is too big for my taste, to bulky. I like smaller cars, but eh it's all preference. I've never owned a boosted car or even driven one o.O??

No mods for what cars? Maximas? I figured you could do just about anything to a Maxima as you can do to any other car. I'm kinda lost.

What 'creative' mods did you have in mind?

  • M45 is the same size as the Maxima, give or take 2 inches.

There are plenty of mod for the maxima, nothing for the M45, except VIP stuff.

Right now as it stands, its making my own intake, phenolic spacers, headers and full header back exhaust. They do however for some strange damn reason they make a BBK for an arm and a leg ($4000). This little M45 will be a nice little performer when I'm done, as this being an 8 cylinder everything I do is greater gains then with the maxima
