  • Damnnn mannnn I was 5 years old when this album came out. I wonder how life was back then....way better than now no DOUBT...damnnn

  • @sixthsense11100 wow, 5?..i was a senior in high school when this was out. and let me tell you. shit was mad fun. it was a good vibe to hiphop. it didn't get any better than the 90's era. today's so called rap artist and producers can't compare. they can't compete with the style or lyrics from back then. hiphop has been kinda corny for awhile now, but it's making a come back. it's too fancy and flashy now. it needs to go back to that raw rebellious type rap. story telling.

  • One of the all time best...Classic!

  • i think i heard the neighbours banging on my door before and just then there was lights flashing like police outside but i cant find the remote for the volume and hey am too fookin stoned to move anyway

  • Man...this was the cd!!!

  • classic e double made some tight beats!!

  • I wanna go fishing with Erick Sermon and straight chill.. He is my role model.

  • Warning: To all who listen to Erick Sermon please do not turn the volume all the way up the bass is to much for any speakers/headphones

  • this song sounds perfect for a house party!!

  • Never really felt E Sermon on the mic but he is one of my top 5 producers

  • Some more of that erick sermon funk love it. do your thing im doing my thing 90s hip hop the best

  • These southern rap fucks out now couldn't comprehend how to make ill shit like this even if they wanted to.

  • @gottago all southern rap aint that bad tho

  • @051290ma not all but most of it is trash. Bun b, scarface, and outkast are the only ones I'd fuck with the rest of them sound illiterate, lack talent, or both.

  • I had this on a cassette, played it so much it just tore up, probably the best album he ever put out.

  • Pete Rock, Large Pro, Erick Sermon, DJ Premier, DJ Honda, RZA, Bronze Nazareth,Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Mathematics are prolly some of da best producers hip hop has ever seen yo...

  • he played the same keys on funkorama and on a lugs commercial he just changed the arrangement..this man is one of the greatest of all time period

  • Man If Your Not Feeling This Beat Theres Somethin Wrong Wit You Because This Is A Crazy Chill Beat That U Can Bump All The Time

  • I HAD MY MOMMA UP ON THIS ONE!

  • No doubt the E-Double is the most slept on producer. I remember when this album 1st came out - Total insanity. Music these days seems to have lost that true musical element y'know? E is dope, I still bump it in my whip this very day.

  • a REGGIE NOBLE production. Far too smoked out for The MC Grand Royal a.k.a. The Funk Lord. The Green Eyed bandit. Cold Tune - Long live the funkadelic REDMAN

  • I used to bump this back in the day......One of my faves....CLASSIC!!!!

  • I luv this joint. This is the shit!

  • I used to love this album, down to the skit where he's playing the banjo lol

  • eric sermon is a producer god.....and a rapper with mad flow!

  • this song is hot and mad chill definetly an influence for me

  • so smooth man, I love this. cant stop listening to it.

  • This album is a classic. I still play it til this day.

  • the green eyed bandit

  • Redman-Funkorama

    E Sermon is a genius!

  • classic album every joint

  • Another slept on club banger!!! Listen to this vibe with that hypnotic Aaron Hall riff in the background!!!! Damn this captures the essence of the nightlife without all the drama in the streets. Glad to see a few cats agree with me that this was a straight sleeper back in '95. The whole CD is classic and is still slept on til this day. E double was so tight in EPMD and made an even tighter producer. Just listen to some of Redman and DJ Quik's mid-late 90s releases!!!

  • yes I believe!! well said!!

  • Im from Compton and i used to get high and play this album from top to bottom.

  • People don't understand how great this song is. It's about a vibe being somewhere at the right time and place. When u would go out to a party or club and it's full of hot women,no knuckleheads. The DJ is spinning and your doing your thing, just chillin.

  • This is a great album. Back in '95, I played this song to death.

  • this album makes me happy, well all early def squad ish does... :D

  • reggie actually produces this u know...my favourite mc and one of the greatest true lyricists of all time..this album is a landmark.

  • DEF SQUAD YA HEARD ME.....!

  • This song is crazy, Aaron Hall in the backround is crack!!! Classic

  • @caprice11 If you still around What was Aaron Hall sample from - just so I can check it out

  • @caprice11 Oops found it - It was when he guest vocalled on Erick's single "Welcome" of tghe same album. I really enjoyed it on Funkorama tho' that I think was the best use of it.

  • @caprice11 Yeah that year Sermon couldn't help but include the "Groove Me" or "Teddy's Jam" samples from Guy or "Bootsy!" in everything he put out! If I didn't like New Jack Swing it would've been quite annoying. Fortunately it wasn't! :D

  • I agree wit Infamous,E-Dub has been innovator,a legend, and a producer that never slips on making dope shit, they just won't give that nigga his just due!

  • Eric Sermon is the most slept on producer of all-time. I dont understand why he isnt mentioned with the likes of Dr. Dre, Neptunes, and Kanye.

  • right on to that!!!! i love his music!!!

  • He`s definitely has a sound that`s his own. He deserves more recognition for sure. I agree he`s totally slept on.

  • @Infamous256

    True words true words.

The Production was smooth and warming.

  • @Infamous256

    hey true, true.

  • @Infamous256 because hes on another level than those guys... Erick Sermon is 100 times better than all 3 of those production units put together

  • @Infamous256 If anyone knows EPMD they'll know who the green eyed bandit is, this track is the bomdigi.

  • @Infamous256 as long as we like him dude...am sure his bank account does. drop that beat

  • @Infamous256 Thank fuck he ain't mentioned amongst those idiots, he actually produced funky shit whilst those turds make terrible noise. He's amongst the illest like Mo Bee, Beatminerz n DITC...

  • @Infamous256 Ya kiddin' me - I agree with you, but Dre, Neptunes and Kanye - what's that a joke? He is mentioned next to the Hall of Fame Artist (producers) like Marley Marl, Easy Mo Bee, Large Pro, K-Def, Showbiz, Jay Dilla, Diamond D, Pete Rock, Prince Paul etc. etc. Kanye and Neptunes ain't gonna make it to the similar levels - Never. Yeah all of these Kanyes have made a lot of bucks, but bucks ain't got a word to say when it comes to the art. Please don't mix up moneymakers with artist.THX

  • i use to love this joint, the way e delivers his raps is what makes is joint tight

  • for real!!:)

  • @ericdajerk I think he aight with rappin. I just think hes better at producin.

  • grand puba

  • This beet is so sick man. Lyrically nobody fuckin wit redman. too deep way too deep!

  • Big L destroys him

  • big l is a great battle rapper, but lyrically redman is better. redman is way more wittier than big l !

  • @imrealboutmine U think so? Big L?

  • @elsalfo I dont know man Redman in his prime was a monster, not the post muddy waters redman where he started falling off. Check Dare Iz a Darkside.
