When I heard that DP made a cover for this song, I thought I was in for a treat. See, DP is one of my favourite bands, and I absolutely adore this song. However, I was very disappointed by this version. Good job on the instruments, though.

As for this song, musically the band is great, but the vocals?!!!!

Horrible.

I was at this show in Birmingham and Gillan's vocals were inconsistent at best on the day, but this song was particularly painful to listen to. I wish I could, but I can't romanticise about this performance. As much as I love this band, Gillan was by far the weakest link on the stage that night.

I always liked how DP was playing this tune but there, we can hear is one of the greatest Jon Lord organ improvisation. This day Ritchie was in a very bad mood, so Jon, as often, saved the concert with his fantastic playing. Ritchie comes back at the end to a few guitar notes, but so full of feeling.
