@kamododragoon I have a California Birth Certificate too. It's EXCEEDINGLY difficult to change one's birth certificate after SRS, I've been post-op for over a year and have not been able to change it yet. I will likely get the ball rolling in February 2011 next year.
Fortunately, the State of Colorado (in which I live now), the Social Security Administration and US State Department accurately see me as female.

Now that a reply to the suit has been filed and we're going to the press with it tomorrow, I don't mind pointing you to Title 1, Subtitle A. Marriage, Chapter 2, Sub-chapter A of actual Texas Law and Probate Code, Chapter II, Sec. 38 and 45 of Federal Law. The Texas Legislature rendered L v P defunct in 2009 with their change of actual marriage law.

I made an entire video about the law, but Nikki's attorney asked me to take it down since having the other side clueless is in Nikki's best interests. The LvP case was ruled defunct in 2 different state supreme court cases. The legal CA Birth Cirt is FEMALE. Nikki was arrested but was not convicted - there's a difference. Nikki spoke to the press 2 weeks after the in-laws did. They're responsible for the media storm.

@kamododragoon Texas Law = same sex marriage illegal; transsexual marriage is 100% legal. The CA birth certificate is female. She was never convicted and if she was, it has nothing to do with the marriage question. The chromosome test is irrelevant. As I said in the video, if the ethically challenged lawyers are too stupid to keep up with changes in the law, I'm not going to clue them in. I want to see their faces when the Texas law is read before the court and their case falls apart.
