  • Has Bandai ended the Hi-Metal series?

Pity. They had so much potential.

  • sadly, my vf-1s came with x1 crooked landing gear, and really loose arm joints.

  • is it Batroid mode or Valkyrie mode???

  • blah blah anime magic ---> now that's funny ^^

  • looks like this would be somewhat in scale to the robotech matchbox tactical battle pod, have you tried to put them together to see? would be perfect if it would fit inside the regult :P

  • Bandai basically tried to copy the 1/60 Yamato Valks, but cut some corners when they designed this. I dunno, I love Macross Valks, and I collect anything they put out, but I think I will skip this. It's priced almost as much as a 1/60 Yamato, and yet it's not even half of it in quality.

  • 将来、本物のバルキリー作ろう!

  • does anyone know if they'll be doing these in super mode?

  • Pillsburry dough boy hands LOL!

  • R.I.P. Shogundan.

  • Great review, thanks Josh. :D

I'm waiting for the forthcoming Focker version with the strike pack before I bite.

  • idk i think they get lazy when making these just so they can make many more versions of these toys.

  • The Bandai engineers really did a great job on this.

  • hoy much bigger it's compared with the Revoltech Transformable Valkyries?

  • Why do I love watching video reviews of toy's I'll NEVER get?... I've come to notice - literately collecting the toys isn't my hobby. WATCHING the reviews for them is. Lol.

  • @IXRollOutIX I enjoy watching, too, but occasionally I'll find something I really like and get it. Watching reviews is another way of enjoying a toy, and it's also the cheapest way. :D

  • Way better than revoltechs three transformation Valkyrie garbage.

Lovely that it has the iconic forward leg tilt. Wow. It just looks so cool. The parts swapping that you are doing is really understandable with a motion revive, sh figuarts, GNU-Dou, Revoltech sized figure.

  • does the spinning stand have different speed modes? or just one speed

  • @kairus1 2 speeds, and that's the slow speed!

  • @CollectionDX i was looking for this valk 2 months ago.. but i don't know... it looks easy to break, specially in shoulders and hips.. what do you think?

  • @alejandroso It's pretty sturdy. I got one from Angolz two weeks ago, and it's just fine.

  • @CollectionDX If that's the slow speed, then the high speed would probably give that VF-1 and assisted Take off. -Ba Dum Tssh-

  • @CollectionDX

where can I get one of these spinning display table?

  • Looks pretty neat as far as engineering goes, it does a few things I haven't seen before, namely in the arms and pelvis. I'm growing increasingly bored with this design, though. I'm amazed fans keep buying them year after year. There's nothing wrong with the design, but how many identical Valkyries do you need?

  • @ShiyojinRommyu

It's the curse of iconic mecha.

How many VF-1's, RX-78's, or Evangelion Unit-1's do we need? Apparently there aren't enough out.

  • this is my favorite figure from this line

  • Great review Josh.

If I weren't so burnt out on VF-1 Valkyrie's I'd pick it up.

Now if they made a VF-4 Lightning III that'd be a different story.

  • Is the build quality good? Descent? Fantastic? Wobbly? It looks really good on screen.

  • the VF-1 is always bigger than it should be in 1/100 scale sadly

  • Before people start, no a normal Zentradi soldier is NOt the same size as a valkyrie, they reach a little lower than the chest, bodolzzle bretai are exceptions
