  • THX for putting this movie here on youtube. I like they dressed what they wearing. I enjoyed it.

  • omg! Laurence Olivier <3

  • Were western ladies really wore those things in early 1800's? Or it just the movie... o.O

  • @talidina2 Laurence Olivier? Of course.. he was one of those superb main leading actors in his generation, but for me Matthew McFadyen (in 2005 version) still the best cast for Mr. Darcy, along with Keira Knightley as Elizabeth Bennet.

  • @NurmaBP

I agree about Matthew, he is the BEST DARCY....

Love the 2005 version...Keira was a Perfect Lizzie...

I'm sure that is what Jane Austin had in mind when she wrote P & P...

  • They butchered a classic.

  • Thank you for uploading this!!!!

  • @talidina2 They used costumes and scenery from "Gone with the Wind" cause the movie was made during the WWII

  • shitty quality .. hello .. we are in the digital age... !!

  • Love this version! Austen wasn't part of my k-12 curriculum, but I caught this movie one night on KQED and that led me to read P&P and Persuasion and to generally go Austen mad :D

  • This is brilliant! I love it! I think all versions should be free for all to see because this is a truly wonderful classic.

  • Why did they put them is such horrible dresses! Totally wrong period. Some very odd bits in this and changes in plot. Also no trip to Derbyshire, no Pemberley and no Georgianna. Lizzie has some nice lines, not from the book.

  • You are a fantastic human being!

  • How similar to the book is this ?

  • I love this version! Does anyone know what the names of the music that plays at 12:42 - 13:24 and 37:36 - 37:47. I would appreciate any help or direction!

  • i luv this movie the only bad point i could say is tht we dont meet darcys sister or get to see pemberly but other than tht this is definatly one of my favorites movies of all time and tht is quite uncommon of a teen nowadays:)

  • lololol
