I feel that Liberians are trying to erase the memories of so called 'Settler' Liberians or rather Congoes. Believe me when I say the Congoes did wrong by the natives but I beleive they get more than their fair share of blame. In 133 years of rule there was not one period as bad as what Liberia has stooped to now. Some of the wrongs Congoes are blamed for are not even true... I might add that the practice of slavery did not occur and that the King Administration was cleared of those charges.

Liberia has an American heritage...it is not an American country but the very name of the country is linked to America..... I already pay $80K per year in Federal income taxes, I'd gladly pay double that as long as I knew the additional $80K would be soley dedicated to the migration to Liberia program.
