The original had way more emotion in it. When the singer's held their notes, you actually felt the emotion, and not them just singing the words like in this version. Their voices sound very unoriginal and powerless. It's really amazing how a song made 25 years ago can still convey so much power and emotion.

A few things...first of all - Merry Christmas...2nd of all - twenty years after the original recording/version of this song, it's admirabale and disturbing that a new generation of singers wanted to remake this song into their own version. Way too often are todays' singers re-making songs into their version and I have yet to hear a remake to even come close to the original. Get some originality folks!
