I stumbled across this looking for another video with a similar premise that I remember seeing in the early 90s or late 80s. It might have been on In Living Color or another sketch comedy show like Haywire (probably the latter), featuring Axl and Slash stepping out a TV or closet of a kids room to play heavy metal versions of Mother Goose rhymes for a kid. Far better and more involved execution of the premise than this video.
