  • Youre really good for two lessons, but try to really break in your demi-pointe. Please be careful! I dont want you to hurt yourself when you have just started!

  • You have such pretty feet and you seem so good for having had only 2 lessons! I'm not an expert at ballet but pointe really is a beautiful thing!

  • your so lucky to have gotten ballet lessons. id give anything to go but my mother told me that we cant aford lessons. dont ever stop dancing and keep up the good work!

  • those are really pretty pointes on really pretty feet!! :)

  • :O DONT GO ON POINT AFTER YOU CAN GO UP RIGHT! your not going over right sorry but you can break your foot and have worse chance of dancibg again

  • U should tuck in ur ribbons cuz it waz good but that distracted me

  • jelous

  • i just noticed the reallycute dog in the background

  • don't dance on pointe without a teacher supervision.

  • Try and put your feet closer together :) I'm 16 and have danced for 12 years with 4 years of pointe! It helps, and you have gorgeous feet.

  • You're good, don't quit. You should be careful not to jump into your pointe, that's really my only critisism. (And that's only for your safety, it's extremely easy to brake an ankle if you jump onto your pointe) and please, calm down. These people weren't really trying to be mean...

  • Omd get over yourself

  • what size street shoe are you?

  • Your jumping onto pointe in your echappes

  • @AmiDancer98 I know. It's a bad habit, which I have pretty much stopped doing now...Thanks for telling me.*sarcasm*

  • LOOOL

  • @AmiDancer98 I'm glad it brought you such pleasure and laughter. I always aim to please. Oh how I wish there was a sarcasm emoticon.

  • It looks more like a clumsy storck than real ballet.

  • @luticia Thank you soooo much; that is exactly what I was going for.

  • @chocolatedoggy2 Well, then no need to join another ballet class anymore! U're a master in what I've told u before.

  • Not bad. You have a really pretty arch. Get over your box more and cross your bourres (sp?) a little more so you're not stepping out to second, you stay in fifth.

  • @BillBaileyFan2662 Thank you, I've fixed that problem now..well you know mostly..bad habits and all that. Plus I'd just like to say that dance is just a hobby for me..I'm quitting it next year so...

  • @chocolatedoggy2 Aw, that's a shame. You definitely have some talent. :)

  • @cheyennagubana it is just a casual video so it isn't really necessary

  • get over your box more :)

  • After 2 lessons you obviously didn't know how to tie them right.:p

  • @SuperHairTutorials Or I'm lazy..thank you very much for the criticism though*sarcasm*.

  • Wow I'm a dancer too after my two lessons I was practically pro

  • @Anyagotswagga Cocky much?

  • you need to tie yor knott at the inside of the ancle

  • @randieloveballet I do that now...or not why the hell do you care? Sorry..it's just I've gotten so many mean comments on this video even if your intention was kind I just take everything as an insult now.

  • Rocky horror and ballet!!!?? Marry me?

  • keep your bourees (i think thats how you spell it XD) tight together, like no air in between. on your echappes slliiiiide into the second position, if you jump onto it, you can seriously damage your ankles, lastly, to help get on top of your boxes, straighten your knee then rise to en pointe, it will stretch your feet correctly. I hope you enjoy pointe, its such a beautiful hobby

  • Wow, your shoes are really thin at the toes

  • @TheMazzatron That's what happens when you have thinner feet. :p

  • you need to get over your box. you're not entirely up yet. hope that helps. :)

  • firstly tuck in yr ribbons and dont tie tem that way and make sure that wen you do the know it's at the side so as it doesn't hurt the back of your ankle when you go up on the block. Also you have done very good for 2 lessons yet you need to push over onto your block with both of your feet at the min u only push over on the left properly but even then you still need to push over more and i woudl also say that you need to turn your feet out using the tops of your legs so that you dont fall off :)

  • I love that song ❤Rocky horror 4eva ❤

  • please go on my channel to check out my video, i could really use the advice!

  • Next Lesson!

Learning how to fit and tie a shoe.

  • Comment removed

  • @cheyennagubana Next Lesson!

Shutting your mouth. Sorry but I don't respond well to flames..which I'm getting a lot of. So if you don't see any videos out of me after this, I've most likely killed myself.

  • You should NOT have pointe shoes at your house after only 2 lessons in them!!!! Thats like bring home a gun! If you have not yet developed the strength in your ankles yet and don't fully know what you are doing, being in pointe shoes alone without being supervised by a teacher you could easily brake an ankle! Please be careful!

  • @Kammy10033 you can bring your pointe shoes home of course you can where else is she meant to keep them but yes she should be holding onto something :)

  • @Kammy10033 My mom literally forced me to do the video, I DIDN'T WANT TO!!!!! God dammit why won't people shut up..perhaps I should just stop listening..nah it's fun to respond to these things.

  • What kind of shoes do you have? They look really good on you!The one thing I have to say is,well I don't know if you do this but one thing I've learnd is not to bend your legs.I know I do this a lot .

  • you've definitely got the perfect dancers feet!

  • Turn out dear. You can really damage your ankles like that.

  • that's beautiful!! you just like a bird)

  • Awesome! I start my first pointe class tomorrow :)

  • Good but try to get ur legs together

  • Wow, you're very god for two lessons. Something I've learnt about ribbons is that you should tie the ribbons on the inside of the leg above the ankle - not behind because it can put too much pressure on the tendon. However, if you tie it a bit loose (like I do) I wouldn't worry too much. But yes, well done! I'd love to see you en pointe now :)

  • @thatswhatsheread you can still start ballet for recreation, but if you want to be a professional dancer, then it is a tad bit late. Pointe is hard but fun!

  • GREAT JOB!!! Just a little bit of constructive critasisum (probably spelt wrong lol a high schooler who can't spell) make sure you role onto you box more and watch for sickling, but other than that, wow! This is your second class? Amazing, sweetheart.

  • you are rely good :) I cant wate tell I get in to pointe :)

  • Tuck in your ribbons other than that ur really good

  • Make sure you really push over on your box, and don't roll. Otherwise, your good. : )

  • 1. I LOVE ROCKY HORROR, REPRESENT! 2. I wish I could be on pointe. I don't even take ballet. It just looks so pretty. And I'm already 15, so it's kind of late for me to even start.

  • @thatswhatsheread No, you're not that late. I know its better to start young, but if you are in pretty good shape and kind of flexible, I bet you could be En pointe in 3 & 1/2 years.

  • @thatswhatsheread it's not late at all, i'm 15 myself, i gave up from ballet when was very young and started again now :) of course you'll have to work hard to improve, evrything is easier when you're a child but it completly possible! i'm having my first pointe lesson today!!!

    good luck with that ;)

  • try on working on your turn out :)

  • you have done well consideering you have just started. you need to learn to roll through your feet more, and remember that you still have to turn out even though your en pointe. all the best

  • ur jumping on your echappes, dont jump.

  • Rocky Horror Picture Show?

  • @HandyHandyGirl Yes! It is one of my favorite movies...EVER! :D

  • @coolios5555, I've been taking classical ballet (Cecchetti) for almost 12 years now and I have taken pointe for about 5 years. If you don't go to a dance studio I would recommend starting back up!!! some people have very strong ankles and toes naturally and that is a big part of pointe, but having good posture, good technique, over all good placement, and a few other things are also necessary before you start pointe. I'm not sure because I haven't seen your feet or anything hahah but most defia

  • 1st of all tuck in your ribbons and tie them on the sides

2nd put them in a safe area out of reach of your dog

  • Great arches!!

  • Love your shoes

  • props for rocky horror. I have a question. If i have taken ballet before but not recently and i know for a fact my ankles and toes are string enough for pointe could i start taking pointe lessons. or do i have to start all over again with ballet 1.

  • Wow I forgot how good new pointe shoes looked

  • tuck ur ribbons in!

  • You really shouldn't be dancing or playing around en pointe away from the barre after 2 lessons...altho I totally get it! Plus, you have some gapping in your shoes; maybe get fitted again? Just want all to go well for you; you've got lovely feet & for only having 2 lessons, you're lookin good!

  • I like the fact that the music is from Rocky Horror Picture Show :P

  • What kind of shoes are they? As a experienced pointe dancer, I suggest you ask your teacher how to tuck the ribbons in. My teacher asks us to do it a certain way! Also don't mess around too much in your shoes! It can ruin your feet!

  • the shoes look a little baggy in the ankles..maybe they're too big a size? good job, though!

  • You are very good for just starting keep it up!

  • Are there Bloch? What shank is it? This is VERY good for a beginner(: Keep going girl!(:

  • @chocolatedoggy2 I do too! I am a dancer and I think u r AHMASONG!!!!

  • what kind of shoes are those?? I LOVE how tapered they are ><

  • Don't worry about not tucking in the ribbons, I never do when I'm practicing at home, obviously when I'm at lesson or performing- its a different story. Ignore the negative comments, this was a long time ago and I'm sure you've gotten so much better!

  • @Windsorbluementhol Thank you! Yeah...I was kind of coerced into doing this video so I was a bit too lazy to actually tuck in the ribbons...

  • Does it hurt? I really want to do ballet, I know i'm to old. But i'm jsut wondering if it hurts ? :) and how. Btw I love that weird movie song too :)

  • @smartercat Yes..it does hurt, but not as much as you may think. You can never be too old to start something..or at least that's what I think.

  • This song :D

  • you have really beautiful feet, bu the shoes looked as if they were going to fall off

  • 2?!?! Very good just keep your ribbons tucked in also your pointe shoes look just a tad to big. But anyway very very good keep doing ballet I believe that you will do amazing!!!!! :)

  • @kittykat45054 Actually my arches are just creepily high so even though when I'm on flat with the pointe shoes they're REALLY tight when I'm up they're too big...it's a bit problematic to say the least. And thank you. :)

  • Ouch. How long does it take to get to point shoes?

  • OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

  • Extremely good :) i love how quiet you are. <3 very lovely.

  • nice archs

  • learn to tie your ribbons first.

  • Not bad for two lessons. You need to work your arches more so that you can go completely on the box of your pointe shoes. Also, turn out and tuck in your ribbons!!!

  • Aahhh! Tuck in your ribbons!!!!

  • You have massive potential! But please tuck in your ribbons... it will make your feel look much neater!

  • wow those were to good lesssons

  • TUCK IN YOUR RIBBONS!!!

  • @TheWarriorFan88 um read the description

  • To be honest you're not that impressive after 2 lessons but you're amazing keep doing what you do (been on pointe for 4 years)

  • tuck ribbons in the look bad out

  • about the song 0:29 - 0:41

  • what kinda song song is this ?? O_-

  • You need to breack them in :)

  • great song.... o.o

  • you have great feet for pointe, your not bad at it :) just work a little on the turn out, u tend to turn in a little

  • ahhhh! TUCK IN YOUR RIBBONS! :) Your great 4 a begginer

  • i hate the music....but i love ur legs

  • Good job, just tuck in your ribbon ends.

  • turn out..

  • Your feet are beautiful. You look like you have very strong ankles for a beginner point student.

  • your doing really well sweetie continue to get better:)

  • u had 2 point lessons and u didn't lean the most basic thing.... how to tie your ribbons :/

  • TUCK IN YOUR RIBBONS! :] please? :]

  • Your doing well. its hard to tell in the video but keep your knees straight! you will break an ankle if you dont and be carful of your extra ribbons! cut them short or wrap them even at home! but very good without any bar.

  • Start with ur back foot on borrès (sp?) :)

  • if this is only after you seccond class, then god knows how good you are now :) you look a bit shakey, but i think everyone is like that when they first start, hell i know i was :P you must be great on pointe now.

would you mind having a look at some of my vids? i could use some advice of someone more experienced :D

  • Try Turning out? It would help make your feet look even prettier :) Good job for only two lessons!

  • Nice echapes! You were a heck lot better than i was in the beginning, I can't imagine what you look like now:D

  • OMG UR SOOO GOOD!!!! AFTER TWO LESSONS??? WAT KIND OF SHOES DO U HAVE??? i have grishko 2007s, im 12. oh and how old r u?

  • @DancinDaisyDoodleBu9 Well then I was 13..I think, um..now I'm 15 those were grishko's I think..you know I really suck at knowing things..but now I have russians...they HURT. I'm actually posting another video fairly soon...of how much I suck.

  • nice i have just started pointe lessons too

  • nice arches, good future en pointe. When you get dead shoes, can you make a pointe video wearing those?

  • what kind of shoes are those? they look SO similar to the ones I have, I've got Capezio Contempora. You look amazing, I can't wait til I'm awesome at pointe.

  • 2 lesson??? where is your barre?! cut those strings tuck in those ribbons. I wish I could be nice but as an instructor, girl you're lucky u didnt show your face. If I was your pointe coach I'd cut your feet off for going on pointe with no support. roll through your releve to pointe dont just picce or hop. your feet need that strength. only being mean cuz i dont want you getting seriously injured.

  • great feet! after 2 lessons? you're a natural. I can only imagine how amazing you'll be after a year!

  • What a lovely audience! Heart the song and splendid pointe work. Keep it up!!

  • Really pretty feet! All you have to do is work on really pushing into your box, but not sinking into them (you didn't sink into them it's just a tip!) Good job!

  • Your listening to rocky horror picture show xD love iit!

  • @inspiredbysnowx3 Thank you...I love Rocky Horror.

  • aww! brilliant! great feet!

  • make sure u tuck the ribbons in cuz if they come undone u could trip over them and injure your self. other than that good job :)

  • TUCK IN YOUR RIBBONS GIRL!!!!!!

  • rocky horror :D AND GOOD JOB FOR A BEGINNER!

  • congrats. how sweet to share.

  • Your calfs are so strong !!!! <3

  • Well i do know that you didn't lean how to tuck in your ribbons

  • @scgalhjl Actually I did...I was just a lazy ass bitch back then...wow sorry for cursing.

  • does it hurt?

  • some people have nothing better to do then watch BEGINNERS on you tube and comment rudely on thier videos. it's amazing how some people use the internet as a cover to be total jerks.

  • @pantherettedancer505 I'm with you on that...

  • @pantherettedancer505 THANK YOU !!! I so love that comment you made :) !!!

  • are those grishko's? and you have nice feet!

  • tuck ur ribbons in!!!!

  • when you bourre lead with your back foot, not the front foot.

  • @applelemonhead3345 Thanks...I always lead with the front..bad habit I guess.

  • @chocolatedoggy2 also, you have waayyyy too long of ribbons. not just like tucking them in, but its clear you didn't cut them in half.

  • your corrueis reallyweak and you are not overyourtoeor your box. Your echappes made me cringe :/

  • @Becka94647 She said she has only had two lessons. That's really unkind, you should at least give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism!

  • @thelwilliams94 Thank you.

  • love the rocky horror

  • What's the name of the song used???

  • @bwoodsfinest It's "There's A Light (Over At the Frankenstein Place)" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show :)

  • @ElvishVegan Thank you :D

  • i'm going on pointe this january:)

  • Im going to take pre pointe next year!!!!

  • Eek! Hopefully you have learned how to tie your point shoes properly since you have posted this video! You can really hurt yourself!

  • you cannot borre

  • @theemowhoknowslove I can't do a lot of things.

  • This is great after only two classes! I've doing pointe for about 2 years now and competeing. Great job! Don't tie you're ribbons in the back you will damage the shoes. Have someone teach youu. But great!

  • i don't believe u went to 2 classes ur teacher would of thought how to tie ur ribbons

  • @chloexx141 I was LAZY okay??? goodness.

  • Dont tie your ribbons at the back.. you can tear your Achilles … surely your teacher taught you how you tied your ribbons?

  • congrats on reaching pointe. but let me tell u, it only gets harder from here.

  • good job! the only thing i saw was that it appears that u r leading with ur front foot when you bourree. always lead with the back. and (if we want to get real nit-picky) make sure ur back foot is always behind ur front foot. still...after two classes ur defiantly on the right track and it looked good! :)

  • does that hurt???!!!

  • @Denae2239 It depends what padding you use, but generally it does hurt.

  • I don't know anything about ballet, but your shoes look too big.

  • @BeautifullyTragicxx Their not too big. The front has wooden blocks in it covered by padding. If there wasn't, and she was going on her toes like that, she would probably break them. So the wood and padding fills the top so they appear to be big but they're not.

  • @BeautifullyTragicxx Um..yeah I have really high arches making it so if I want ANY comfort when I'm not up on my toes (for lack of a better term at the moment) I have to "suffer" with my shoes being a bit too big when I am up.

  • @chocolatedoggy2 Like I said, I know nothing about ballet. Thank you for clearing that up.

  • ya ok i have learnt break on pointe in my own house. Of course that told me my instructor!!!!!
