Every one that I went to years ago, the bulls were much larger, only two banderillas were planted, no picador was used, and the matador, when the end came, killed the bull quickly and cleanly. Now, they breed the bulls to be much smaller and with smaller horns. A Spanish fighting bull is still a very dangerous animal.

While I'm not a fan of this, I've been to a couple shows before. I do agree that the animal suffers, but he is not being brutally tortured, I mean, the animal has the ability to stand and defend itself. Believe it or not, people actually gets pissed if they hurt the animal unnecessarily. And excuse me but, what is the difference between bullfighting and fishing? In both cases the animals are being tortured until they die, and in that case, the fish is actually defenseless, yet nobody complaints.

By unnecessary hurting, what I meant was that sometimes the matador might fail the last strike (The one where they stab the bull with the sword) and when they fail they end up hurting them more than they should. This last strike, if donde correctly almost instantly kills the animal, and if it doesn't, they stab it once more while it's in the ground to don't allow it to suffer more.

Very few things can be more disgusting that Bullfights. I'm from Portugal, a country that actively supports it as a national tradition and recently decided to protect it under the Ministry of Culture.
Although Portuguese Bullfights are slightly different from these on the video (the cowards don't actually kill the bull in the ring), the whole concept of performing such a cruelty for entertaining purposes is absolutely sick, awful and disgusting. I really hope this shit will be banned soon.

I feel bad for the horses - because they can't see, and they can't run away...But I feel worse for the bulls. They're stabbed to bleed, tormented until they can no longer stand up, stabbed some more, and then dragged around (on their open wound), before they're finally out of the arena. And then, once they're outside their throats are cut, and they're kicked - all while they're still alive.

@SHARKonlineorg I held that lesson today and we watched this video ( high school class) and they expressed the hate and contempt for this kind of "tradition". We all promised to make it a mission to prevent and inform all we know that they mustn´t visit a bullfight. We ended the lesson, paying our tribute to this beautiful brave bull. You are doing a great work, informing people is the best you can do. Actions doesn´t serve the same good purpose as to inform.

Ok, so... hunting, in which people kill deer(which try to run away)... they are killed with GUNS, making it easy to kill them and almost guaranteed to be a kill while matadors use swords to kill bulls(which try to attack the matador) yet people are trying harder to save bulls(which would otherwise be used to breed for FOOD if not used in bull fights) and we look at hunting as a sport... also, we know the animal is stabbed, so i support it as long as it is done in places where its tradition

do you know in Columbia bullfighting, it is forbidden to kill the bull afterwords. i seen a man die in a video and the bull still was not killed. it was good to watch him die, i am sorry if that sound bad. the bull still had blades in it's back though poor thing. i wish Spain at least would not kill the bull afterwords and i wish that it would be banned all together.

This is just sick. Since when do animals not feel pain? The only fight here is the bull fighting to escape, but is driven in circles by these maggots of human kind. Getting repeatedly stabbed with swords and when they fall the final blow is delivered when the last maggot takes a smaller sword and either attempts to sever the spinal cord or scramble the brains. @18chapin99 It doesn't take balls of steel to torment an animal that has already been stabbed in the neck, bled, weakened and disoriented before it even goes into the ring. It takes only huge selfish ego and a lack of compassion. Brave men do not need to torment animals to bolster their ego.
As for Americans riding bulls, our 100+ videos detailing rodeo cruelty clearly demonstrate our stand against that.

Very few things can be more disgusting that Bullfights. I'm from Portugal, a country that actively supports it as a national tradition and recently decided to protect it under the Ministry of Culture.
Although Portuguese Bullfights are slightly different from these on the video (the cowards don't actually kill the bull in the ring), the whole concept of performing such a cruelty for entertaining purposes is absolutely sick, awful and disgusting. I really hope this shit will be banned soon.

Oh wow, I see a trend of animal cruelty cultures here. America was influenced by Spanish cultures, in which they do this crap to bulls.
