@HektiiKGamingAU You can't you must use a program like fraps, if you want to fraps lag free, what you do is set your fraps to record at 3fps (virtually lag free) and have cod player play back at 1/10th speed, then when you speed it up in a editing program it'll be as smooth as it would playing it back at normal speed but recording with 30fps

i run cod4 patch 1.7

i go into a game

i type in console /record knife_madness

it starts recording

than i type /stoprecord

than i close cod4

than i choose open demo in cod4 player

than it opens a folder ''main'' and in that is a folder ''video'' in there is nothing.

@acromine579 its not there, every mod you enter is listed specifically in your cod4 folder, find the mod you were playing on, via COD4PLAYER itself or else you cant see them, and there should be a folder called demos

@acromine579 oh shit i kinda read it wrong lolz, this video is old as hell and that's not the way to record in cod4player. if im not mistaken it's something like /cg_avidemo (set framerate to own liking), then when you're done type in /cg_avidemo 0 to make it stop recording, now somewhere should be a folder with each individual frame rendered out, download virtualdub and make the targa image sequence into an avi

now just add audio and you're done

**HOW TO MAKE IT WORK ON MAC**

Just go to main and create an folder called "demos" and you're ready to go!

Remember that you CAN NOT use cod4player in mac, but just use the recorded files on your friends regular computer (pc)

If you recorded them using the '/record' command, then they should be there.

There is no shortcut, it doesn't matter how you record, you'll need a beast computer to make very good quality videos.

@WOTGSmash Not too beast... If you can record a demo, and can at least run 1280x720, you can make movies just as great as any other person (that is, if you have good editing experience)...

avidemo makes it so you can make your video at any framerate, for the desired resolution. It may take more time to create an avidemo and what-not, but the only factor that limits you with a slower computer, is time.
