Enjoyed wonderful LAP STEEL GUITAR playing, felt it not just heard it. Have for many years been fond of steel guitar and thought playing it across lap would be better than not having CONNECTION to instrument. I am a bit incomplete without hearing singing as video title leads us to believe will occur. Listening to HANK SNOW and RAY PRICE and ELVIS PRESLEY sing SHE WEARS MY RING would be complete experience, especially with lyrics. Discovered you in RELATED VIDEOS at right of screen.

I love the way you play, man. I am just picking up the lap steel, after playing guitar for about 27 years. are you using a c6 tuning? thanks for posting .

Thank you for your kind words, that is my old 1954 Teisco Guitar, there are two C6 tunings, one which is for Hawaiian music and this one I use for country type music. From high to low it is this, with the string guages used. :- G E C A G E

Excellent job James. I love that sound ,you have the Hawaiian sound there like a good Hank Snow version. I'm kinda taking a break from the steel at the time so I can work a little on the bluegrass side with my dobro and maybe the 5 string banjo.
