Although my het Enterprise ships are Archer/Erika Hernandez and Trip/T'Pol, I love Archer/T'Pol in the same way I love Janeway/Paris - not because I think it could and/or should happen in canon, but because the relationships between the characters make for amazing romance stories when told right.

And this song is absolutely perfect for them - I had no trouble shaking off the Superstar association, especially once you hit the line "always been so calm, so cool"...

This really is a wonderful video. I thought from the beginning that A/T would be such a strong couple but ... well. At least there was lots of A/T material in the series; and rightly so.

With this vid I felt uncomfortable at first because I know where the song came from but I myself have had to refer to Archer as "SuperArcher" jokingly sometimes when watching my DVDs. He truly is a man above men and she truly is a female shunned by most people.

An unusual idea, but I can definitely see how it would work; T'Pol may love him, but after spending pretty much her entire life on Vulcan, expressing that emotion can hardly be easy for her.

I thought the song worked because T'Pol doesn't understand love. I felt that during the first two years on Enterprise (I only watched those seasons) she learned about the emotion.
