  • We need a modern day Reagan to get into the White House. If we dont soon, we might be F'd. God Help Us!!

  • Obama is currently suffering the same fate as in The Martian Chronicles to the poor Martian who got caught in the center of so many people his chameleon powers began tearing him apart. Poor poor Obama... Trying to be both president and victim! His economic plans working... and failing at the same time! his endorsement of the Arab spring as a good thing... and it also being a head wind to his economy plans! LOL Now the world sees him for the microscopic man he is

  • Reagan had the best message out of all the presidents in recent history. He didn't follow through completely, but he had the best message.

  • Ronald Reagan grew up in Illinois. His father was a shoe salesman. When he was very young, his mother read to him, moving her finger under the words as she read aloud. He taught himself to read by looking at the words as she read, and by the time he was five years old he could read the newspaper.

  • obama@harvard=JOKE.

    He's a Quota Baby.

    Democrats=Leeches.

  • AMEN!

  • The Greatest of all time ,not look at what we are stuck with ,the totlal opposite of reagan and his policies. Hows it working for you all ? lol

  • If only we had patriots like him again.

  • Reality Check - Reagan was a great leader, but bottom line is, he reduced the apparent SIZE of government agencies by getting rid of employees and closing down facilities - but he actually INCREASED the Federal Governement to the LARGEST SIZE IN HISTORY at that time, because he just transferred all those duties to private subcontractors, who still did all that Federal work, and had to be paid with our taxes! He "reduced the SIZE of government," but ignored that he SPENT MORE !!!!

  • OMG... did he say this last week, about this election??

  • I love when government tells me what to do with and put my reproductive oragan into.I also love when the government tells me I cant have an abortion.

  • @MrTabby5000

Yes, I love it when the government tells me I can't go around killing hispanic illegal aliens because they're funny looking and inconvenient, like fetuses.

And I love it when the government tells me I can't put my reproductive organ into someone else without his/her permission.

  • The ultimate determinant in the struggle now going on for the world will not be bombs and rockets but a test of wills and ideas-a trial of spiritual resolve: the values we hold, the beliefs we cherish and the ideals to which we are dedicated. - Ronald Reagan

  • @jasonejohnson31 You are so in love huh?? LOL!! Was that a love letter form ur lover Reagan to you. Like most republican who has been married multiple times and they want to be the ones to preach about family. Same way they never want to sign up for the military but want to be called patriots. LOL!! Republicans are so found out to be a disgusting fake phony bunch of nothing people! And ur lover Ronnie was one total phony! talked small government and grew it to where the country was in debt.

  • @jasonejohnson31

"We do many things at the federal level that would be considered dishonest

and illegal if done in the private sector."

    Ronald Reagan, August 25, 1988

  • I miss him. RIP!!!

  • How could anyone vote for a guy who made a movie called "Bedtime for Bonzo"? This "Bonzo" should have done us all a favor by remaining the "has been, B movie actor" that he truly was! Less government? What hypocrisy! How then, do they justify their "self-ordained" mission to govern the actions of adult citizens in the privacy of their own bedrooms?

  • Do you know know that By the end of Reagan's term, 138 Reagan administration officials had been convicted, had been indicted, or had been the subject of official investigations for official misconduct and/or criminal violations. In terms of number of officials involved, the record of his administration was the worst ever."

  • @jasonejohnson31 No stupid it not from there! It from Reagan! Why don't you research it instead of looking like a danm fool! Hmm! You dummys think someone is always making up stuff like how you losers make BS about Obama. Reagan did it! Just like he did Iran contra. Stop trying to mask USA History with you being a dick sucking fan of reagan. You being a FAN does not change what his admin did. So stop trying dumbass!

  • @jasonejohnson31 Thanks! God is good all the time!

  • @jasonejohnson31 Loser reagan was to pansy to fight any one! You loser reagan sold out the marines in Lebanon. Learn about your heros before you talk and look like a total idiot! Learn from this dumbass:

Reagan was particularly reluctant to engage with terrorists and other aggressors. He tried to free Hizbullah’s American hostages by selling missiles to its patrons in Iran. Dumbass!

  • @jasonejohnson31 and Reagan never got around to retaliating for the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, and when Shia fighters attacked the nearby Marine barracks a few months later, he quickly withdrew all remaining troops from Lebanon. Loser i don't think you know what your talking about! How old are you? because thats just plain old american history. Not a Media make up! Look it up your self. i see you removed your last comment becaue you must see how stupid you sound! LOL!! Wake up!

  • Comment removed

  • @jasonejohnson31 So the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut did not happen? And Shia fighters attacking the Marine barracks, Your saying Reagan did not withdraw all remaining troops from Lebanon?LOL!! All thats Way before dailykos and townhall. So whats your point? LOL!! You must be a druge-dittohead or a britbart minion. Sad you have to act as if these things did not happen. You remind me of the movie "1984" because you are trying to rewrite history because it does not FIT your lie. Sad

  • @jasonejohnson31 You must also be a fake religious person. You people are the worst because you use Gods name. Thats not right your relationship with GOD is very personal you don't use GOD for political reasons because GOD does not make the difference between Conservative and Liberal. Only you FAKES do that. You calling MJ a molester shows you don't have GOD in your heart. He was never convicted so why would you pass judgement and convict him for something so disgusting? I will pray for you too!

  • @jasonejohnson31 LOL!! The two that grew Government would be the best to you. LOL!! As for Washington now your talking! He was 100 times better then Reagan! Washington fought for the people unlike Reagan he fought for Corp. Big, Big difference in those two. Bush the last 8yrs and republicans losing everything since he was in office. you know republicans held power from the 104th-109th H&S alot crap went on in those years.

  • Comment removed

  • @phuture101 I love baiting KosKiddie trolls. Thanks for the entertainment.

  • @jasonejohnson31 Your such a loser! You self appoint ur self the winner. LOL!! Of what? You Tyrying to lie on what Reagan really did in history compared to you being a minion. LOL!! thanks for the laughs i see how republicans lose so many seats every election.

  • @phuture101 You say "Self appoint ur self" and you are calling jasonejohnson31 the loser?

  • Comment removed

  • @jasonejohnson31 Then you need to stop talk. Hmmm?

  • And he was a president with balls. Just ask Mr.Gadaffi

  • Ronald Reagan was truly a President!

  • @samuraijack18 What? He wasn't in charge G.H.W. Bsuh was

  • @samuraijack18

    So were the other 43.

  • He hated federal influence so much that he signed into law the National Federal Minimum Drinking Age Act in 1984, which denied any state refusing to enforce it up to 10% of its annual federal highway apportionment. That bill alone pretty much went against everything he claimed to stand for in this vid, but it's Reagan, so the self proclaimed "conservatives" overlook it.

  • We need to unite behind Reagan's ideals. His words were true to the founding of our nation.

  • @Kiravak You know when you look at reagan numbers after his terms he grew government and raised taxed 4 times. Do you people really know what reagan signed into law or do you just go with the media and there weird obsession for a person that said one thing and did something totally different. Look at what reagan did not the hype Fox or a republican has to say.

  • Did reagan say THE GOVERNMENT MUST PROVIDE OPPORTUNITY?I thought government was the problem.

Maybe you should clean the wax out of your republican ears and listen to what he really is saying.

  • One of the greatest presidents of our time

  • @5111pt

that grew the government for the rich.

  • @5111pt So you like a reagan because he gave Illegals amisity? Or because he gave arms to Iran or did the bailout for the savings and loan banks or was it the stock crash in 87 that made reagan great to you. He grew government is that why he was great. What was great about someone that said one thing to get elected and then do something eles when in office. If you really take a hard look at reagan and match him up with republican ideas of today. reagan would be called a socialist by teabaggers.

  • Comment removed

  • @Illumified WTF??? HUH????

  • @phuture101

you would be called a fag by heterosexual people

  • @mdc1114 LOL!! Really! So you must be a Log Cabin Republican Right? And ur called FAG alot right? LOL!! STFU!!

  • @phuture101

you're joke is terrible. maybe if i was an uneducated liberal buffoon it would make funnier?

  • @mdc1114 Thats not a joke! LOL!! It's the truth! Thats why ur mad you have been found out! Log Cabin BOY!

  • @mdc1114 "it would make funnier?" Sounds very uneducated? LOL!! Dumbass!

  • I pray that such a man or women will come out of the dust and be Such a great man as Ronald Regan.

    God willing.

I trust in God that this will happen...

  • @squeezemeto

    You had fred thompson,what happened?

  • This must have been right before Reagan decided to provide cash and weapons to terrorists.

  • @marley54fd

    Yes he did.

  • Reagan = SOCIALIST (or fascist or communist or maoist - whatever you double-digit IQ folks are mistakenly interchanging these days).

Reagan increased taxes on business in 1982, higher payroll taxes enacted in 1983 and higher energy taxes in 1984.

  • @wvfii You are so wrong it is unbelievable. You are clearly the victim of leftist propaganda spoon fed by the socialist elite in our schools systems. I was a submariner when he came to office. If it was not for Reagan, you may not have been here to make such a wrong and stupid remark. The world is a vastly greater place for having elected this man.

  • @wvfii aww, thats cute, i use wikipedia as source sometimes too

  • @paramoose83

wikipedia, google, pick your poison. facts are facts. i know the mainstream Right in this country doesn't think they have to adhere to facts anymore, but he rest of us do.

FYI, I'm not a liberal. or a democrat. I'm a registered independent who leans libertarian.

  • Sounds like he read that piece of paper called the Constitution...

  • This man really cared about The United States of America, not like the trash currently running what is left of The United States of America.

  • Very well said, couldn't possibly say it better.

  • @DONGOE Your mother is trash and so was this cock sucker of the rich mans dick

  • @rickbar123 - You are obviously no-class, scum of the earth, human waste or a dumb ass lib/dem.

  • @rickbar123 wow you liberals always say that conservatives are hateful racist bigots andyou are personally attacking a person. hmmmm double standard much.

  • @libertarian93 Fuck you and double that. Read a book, something other than Dick & Jane.

  • @rickbar123 ok want to have an intellectual discussian or are you just going to prove you imaculate ignorance and just keep on being an uneducated internet tough guy? telling me to read a book lets debate something and see who is the idiot

  • @libertarian93 I don't argue with stupid tea bags

  • Comment removed

  • @rickbar123 not a tea bagger, im a libertarian. tea baggers are consrvatives i beleive in ending all wars and bringing back every soldier outside of america, and getting rid of all welfare programs, except for disabled help and getting rid of social security for those below 40 yrs old and getting rid of the income tax and make a 15 percent national sales tax. ending the federal reserve and restoring the right to choose when it comes to marriage, drugs, and lifestyle in general

  • @libertarian93 You should be shot dead, I hope someday you are. Libertarians are tea baggers that think they are smart.

  • @rickbar123 so your just a communist because everyone who disagees with you should be shot...hmmmm i wonder if you beleive in gun rights. have you ever read the rights of men, or how about civil disobeidience. i bet the only thing you have read is the catcher in the rye and the communist manifesto

  • @rickbar123 oh you mean my baseless guess that was most likely not true, actually wasnt true. ok so no we got something we can debate. ok so the middle class was killed in america? well its not up to the government to sustain a middle class its up to the market because the governmentcant sustain middle class workers without spending money which means more greenbacks and more inflation which then means your paying more for everything. the only thing that can be done is making it a free market

  • @libertarian93 rondald regan was no tea bagger trust me he was an american nothing more nothing less thats why no one yelled and screamed that he was crud truth be told he made mistakes but he was well liked because he was heartfelt an honsest george h. bush was similar to regan he just said what he felt as american but his war did crate small controverse but he had good reasons for it. clition was sexacholic george w. bush is an idiot and your precous obama is trying to kill

  • @libertarian93 disabled americans

  • @majormana1 i don't think a guy with the name libertarian93 is fond of obama...

  • @DONGOE your mom is trash

  • @rickbar123 - Look in the mirror - you will see a little, ugly fuck who came from classless garbage and you will always be a will always a little, ugly fuck who came from garbage.

  • @DONGOE fuck you ya fool

  • @rickbar123 - RickBart - the boy with the tiny little pecker.

  • @rickbar123 - What a genius comeback.

  • you forget that congress was republican when clinton was in power

  • @MrTabby5000 Reagan did NOT get rid of steel mills and unions. UNIONS imploded from corruption and greed. They had a strangle hold on the steel industry and prevented them from being competitive in the world economy. In many respects, it's still true. Read history. Don't live by your imagined beliefs.

  • The unions are one of the reasons our auto industry is dying as well. It started in the 70's with all their strikes and demands for higher wages and more benefits. The unions and govt wage laws have driven more businesses out of business or overseas.

  • We miss you Gipper!

  • god knows we need another Reagan...

  • I think we need another 80's too.

  • @Vykkdraygo713 GOD = GOLD, OIL AND DRUGS

  • @Vykkdraygo713 yeah having an actor in the white house who says big government is bad but then proceeds to expand government more than any other president and RAISES taxes is exactly what this country needs. An actor that says whatever his aids give him.

  • @Vykkdraygo713

Um, no. Reagan was not a fiscal conservative. What we need is another Clinton. 23 million jobs>16 million under Reagan.

  • @highwater03 I'm not even sure if you're facts are right on the jobs, but even if you are, Reagan was kinda busy saving the world from nuclear war. If it wasn't for Reagan, either the world would have been decimated or we would have given in to the Russians. On top of that, he saved the economy. Also, if you take an economics class you'll see why Reagan was responsible for the improving economy.

  • @highwater03

Yeah and clinton pushed NAFTA down our throats and other stuff.

  • @Vykkdraygo713 like a hole in the head

  • DID HE SAY PROVIDE (NOT PROMOTE) OPPORTUNITY,Getting rid of the steel mills and busting unions didnt provide much opportunity to earn a decent living.

  • @MrTabby5000 head over to Greece if you want your unions

  • Pretty soon you will be out of work, yes it will happen.

  • @AtlasShruggery

Why don't you move to Cuba, commie? I hear it's utopia there.

  • Go look at your self at the mirror. Are you looking right now.... There the biggest fraud is looking right back at you. Totol jerk......

  • @palin, you're so stupid it makes my head hurt...

-mil budget went up, and he crushed the Soviets by doing so...

-bombed Libya, heard of Lockerbie, and "cross this line, you die"?

-trained Taliban, to help them defeat the Soviets in Afghanistan...

-Saddam was a moderate, we tried to help stabilize the region.

-Iran, same issue as above, but Haj's don't think with a Western train of thought.

Basically, you're an indoctrinated shit that doesn't know their history. I lived it...

  • Clinton's no hero. Clinton just looks smart and competent when compared to the incompetent buffoons who came before and after him. There's no denying that it was a Republican president and a Republican Congress who were asleep at the switch on 9-11.

  • and to answer your question from before...i don't know but i wish some people would hold him accountable for something other than the blow jobs he gets. sorry man, ive been MIA, ive had some crazy things going on in my life that I had to take care of. so im good now

  • You guys better quit falling for the left , right, Democrat, Gop crap and open your Blind fucking eyes. I don't care what party your in we need to get rid of half of our gov. Its to fucking big how can anyone disagree with this???? what is wrong with you people can't you see whats happening? The elite are taking over you!

  • grapestew, i agree with you 100%. welcome to the conservative philosophy department.....

  • Who'd you vote for, grapestew?

  • Obama, I am willing to retract that vote at this point. I thought he might be another Reagan In someways but he's a true far left socialist. My yes we can's turned into a bad dream

  • Yeah you're right about that CC. As i just explained too. Just wanted to make the point of gov't involvment is not always good either. But we're also talking about the S&L meltdown and the causes of that.

  • I think maybe you need to retake 7th grade civics, cc.

Republicans controlled all three branches of government while this mess arose. As president, Bush controlled the regulators. Unfortunately, just like on 9-11 Bush and the GOPers were asleep at the switch.

  • your right but you want to give liberals power to chop away at our freedoms? who do we trust now? This gov is proving to be worse than the last.

  • Yes, that's what we've been trying to tell you: Under Reagan (as well as Bush) the regulators didn't regulate. The auditors and bank examiners weren't allowed to do their jobs by the political appointees. So the Banksters took crazy risks and we all paid the price. The 1983-87 recovery which is still touted by the Reagan mythmakers as support for their poorly conceived policies was just a typical rebound from a very bad recession. You should consider reading Paul Krugman's work on the subject.

  • what they make. OK i have to make this short for now. But regulators didn't regulate now and then but not because entirely because of the appointees. The S&L's were desperate to create revenue thus, taking on those crazy risks due to the negative credit spread on their fixed int. rate mortgages due high inflation from the late 60's and most of the 70's. Treasury bills, corporate bonds, and inception of money markets were soaring in yields, therefore leading the S&L depositors to

  • to go else where to earn a 15% interest rate instead of a 3% interest on their S&L deposit. S&L companies couldn't compete due to the 6% interest (give or take a few points) they were earning on the fixed loans. Prime rate i think hit 20% or so by 1981. This was killing the S&L's for obvious reasons. I'm stopping there for now. However, too much regulation of banks can be harmful leading to low growth rates and balance sheets with low equity deriving less flexibility to market fluctuations.

  • proper regulation should be to protect people from getting cheated in anyway and to hedge against wreckless policies. However, not to form an incentive to go out an do something while hedging the risk on the American taxpayer such the the credit default swaps that were defult insurance for the CDO securities issued by investment banks. Those securities were ultimately based upon the forced mortgages to 'underserved neighborhoods' as ordered by the CRA 1977 meaning that they risk was

  • **the risk** was inherently based upon the federal gov't b/c it was going through freddie, fannie, and ginnie mae. Ginnie Mae buys the FHA mortgages and auctions them to investors. Since Ginnie mae is back by the full faith and credit of the US gov't, the CDO's and other derivatives were virtually risk-free. When mortgages defaulted, the rest came down too, like dominos. My point, gov't messes up too that Dems supported. Not all Repubs fault. CRA of 1977 strengthened by Bill Clinton

  • "The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under

the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist

program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without

    knowing how it happened."

    by: Norman Thomas

(1884-1968) six-time U.S. Presidential candidate for the Socialist Party of America

  • Surfrider, While I appreciate your amateurish lecture on Reaganomics, I've been practicing tax law since before you were born. I lived through the idiocy of Reagan. You're a typical Republican. You have delusions of victimization and you're really weak at math. Reagan increased payroll taxes by 23% in 1983, not 2%, the largest tax increase in US history. The 1983-87 recovery, which is still touted by you Reagan felchers as some kinda big deal was a typical recovery from a brutal recession.

  • Well show me your sources before you condescend me more. I'd like to see that. Like i said to people, prove me wrong because I guess the US Treasury Dept. had everything completely wrong and mistated historical tax rates increases. So the depreciation recapture, alternative minimum tax, and the MACRS had nothing to do with the S&L and real estate downfall in 87? I just want to see some concrete evidence besides lobbyists were appointed as bank regulators and such.

  • And it was a remarkable recovery. It was not just mediocre. The sustainability in the strong GDP growth is also noteworthy as well as all of the growth in the major economic indicators. I listed those a long time ago on here. Are we looking at different charts and numbers here? I'm just trying to match up apples to apples if you're willing to do so.

  • Doncha love it how Reagan pontificates about curbing the size of government and yet he ran up the biggest debts in US history. Let's face it, George W. Bush was just Ronald Reagan with a Republican Congress, bad hair and no acting lessons.

  • My god. You also to continue to ignore the reality. Biggest debt at the time. Yes. You have no room to talk anymore about debt being run up by a President and Congress assuming you are an Obama supporter.

  • * You cannot build character and courage, by taking away men's initiative and independence.

    * You cannot help men permanently, by doing for them what they could and should, do for themselves.

    * A government that gives you everything can take everything away from you.

    * For those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves. - Abraham Lincoln

  • * You cannot help the poor, by destroying the rich.

    * You cannot strengthen the weak, by weakening the strong.

    * You cannot bring about prosperity, by discouraging thrift.

    * You cannot lift the wage earner up, by pulling the wage payer down.

    * You cannot further the brotherhood of man, by inciting class hatred

  • lol! what a sucker for the rich you are, but yet you are buying all of your spam and kool-aid with a bridge card. You shouldn't care about the rich or the corporate world bud, they don't care about you, they take your lunch money and then some. get infromed and wake up.

  • In the civil society, the individual is recognized and accepted as more than an abstract statistic or faceless member of some group; rather, he is a unique, spiritual being with a soul and conscience. - Mark Levin

  • Surfrider0701, Why do you GOPers always ignore payroll taxes? All you ever talk about is income taxes. For most working folks, it is payroll taxes whic are the major burden. Reagan raised payroll taxes in 1983 and then used the money to fund tax cuts for oil companies and trust fund babies. And please spare us the Evil Liberal Media bullshit. Reagan traded arms for hostages and illegally funded death squads in Nicaragua. The media gave him a free ride. He should've been impeached.

  • Atlas & exenron - You have made excellent points and are dead on. From this surfriders first posts to me I saw that it doesnt matter what you say or show surf. He/her/it is too far gone having swallowed the BS and reality be damned. I lived through the reagan years, studied it since but this 'kid' thinks he has all the answers like a fool because FOX news or whatever BS producer he listens too told him so. He'll just ignore you and claim whatever you say doesnt stand up regardless of the reality

  • And you navywxman finally, It does matter what you say and why i asked for your rebuttal hence why I am still here and try to disprove what others say with the facts and world class post-secondary education i've received. Not by some person ive heard on tv or radio. You have provided no facts and just say that I'm wrong no matter what facts and info i put forth. So you too call yourself relevant in the context of one-sided debates is merely a fallacy of your character and integrity.

  • surf - The only "character and integrity" lacking is your own. I've made several posts in the comments before you ever addressed anything to me. They aren't opinion but facts to claim otherwise is a lie

What do you want for me to waste my time with an ideologue? You have presented no facts, supported them with nothing, have shown a disregard of reality and want what? Meaningful dialogue? If I thought you were capable I would

"world class post-secondary education" lmao, get your money back

  • Its ok, if you don't have anything, then On the contrary, I have posted numerous facts for you to put to the test. You evidently missed a hell of a lot of posts.

  • I didn't miss your posts. I laughed at them & shook my head at your inability to do simple arithmetic. I realized how pointless it was to argue with a militanly ignorant ideologue. I have a client, a former bank pres and RTC workout specialist. He's no liberal but he saw it all firsthand. He will tell you flat out that the current banking crisis is the direct result of the same idiotic lack of regulation that precipitated the S&L meltdown under Reagan . It's not the Treasury, surf, it's you.

  • Well I have a colleague in Manhattan who was one of the head guys at JPMorgan Chase dealing with the mortgages. He was referring to the CRA of 1977. And um, sorry, it was either 12.3% and meant to hit 3% difference or 13.3% and supposed to hit 2%. The 3 is next to the 2. A typo..my mistake. I mentioned the Treasury because thats where I got the payroll tax percentages from. Not from the typo in basic arithmetic. Regulation, could it be perhaps the regulators didn't regulate?

  • OK. the more i think about it the more i see you tried to be a smart ass. 12.3% to 15.3% 3 point change regarding the Payroll tax. You knew what I meant. However, you decided to say, hey the actual increase was 23%. Well if you want, I'll give you 24.39% increase in the payroll tax. Conversely, I could say Reagan decreased the corporate tax rate by 44%. And still add in the 25% reduction in indivdual tax brackets bringing the top tax bracket down to 50% Oh now the richest get to keep half of

  • We can talk patroll tax taxes if you want. Since inception, it was 2%. Climbed to 12.3% in 1980. By 1990, it was 15.3%. I 2% increase throughout the Reagan years. So uh, you're going to cry about that. Thats the only thing you have on that part and compared to a 25% income tax cut because thats, just maybe, a bit MORE significant. Among the items of the tax cut Act, the inception of the Accelerated Cost Recovery System which allows the displacement of economic depreciation

  • inducing incentive for more profitable business investment and a subsequent boom in capital formation. This also helps by reducing the initial cost of capital via tax breaks thus allowing more cash flow for business to help pay the WAGE EARNERS or reinvestment elsewhere in the business to help it EXPAND. Do I have to get on a such a technical level to lay it out so you futile, shallow-minded libs can understand the logic behind economic growth via tax breaks and tax cuts for the guise of

  • economies of scale and scope. I could sit here all day and argue philisophy and ideology on economics and taxes. But I'll just throw down FACTS instead. The tax cuts for business were across the board. from an outrageous 50% to a 28%. Now they can actually keep more than half the money THEY earned allowing more eas to giving workers the pay raise that everyone loves. A 22% tax cut among the new tax breaks for businesses offsets your bitching of the 2% rise in payroll taxes. Oh yeah, he also

  • instituted a another 10% investment tax credit to further give incentive to capital formation. Instead of Obama and his liberal diciples who just publicly scold business and throw money at the problem and hope it works. Its like just keep putting novacaine on a tooth instead of just doing a root canal. Reagan DID SOMETHING.....economic boom after the worst recession in 40 yrs at that time while SIGNIFICANTLY reducing inflation AND interest rates and everything I else i posted this whole time.

  • And no, I'm not sparing you the liberal media bullshit. Its been on full display for some time now and true. It may take some time for you to come out of denial. Reagan gave those arms..saved lives...and those arms didn't work. They were pieces of crap that were given to them. And death suqads? Are you that dense not only with economics but with plain issues at hand? The were fighters against the COMMUNIST Daniel Ortega. reagan couldn't get funding from Congress so he did the shitty weapons in

  • exchange for hostages and use that as well to help fund and support the freedom fighters take on the daniel ortega. B/C communism was still spreading, cold war still current, and instead of going in like Korea and Vietnam...he backed those fighters.

  • Obama and Dems = 787 BILLION bogus stimulus, 3.4 TRILLION budget, 400 + BILLION Omnibus, plus who knows how much for Government run healthcare and so on....All in one year!!!....More than all Presidents combined.

  • Ronald Reagan. The guy who traded missiles to the Iranian ayatollahs in exchange for hostages. The guy who called Osama bin Laden a freedom fighter and claimed that trees cause more pollution than cars. The senile Hollywood air head who ran the most corrupt administration in US history. What a buffoon.

  • So whos your favorite guy? Jimmy Carter? Whos administration began the "snowball effect" of our economic collapse.

  • The recent banking collapse was largely a replay of the savings and loan collapse of the 1980s except on an exponentially larger scale. It was the inevitable result of letting the foxes guard the financial hen house. Much like the Reaganauts, the Bushees prevented the auditors and bank examiners from doing their jobs by cutting their funding and appointing banking industry lobbyists to oversee the regulators.

  • TRUE. I worked for the largest independent bank in Texas during Reagan/BUSH when over five hundred S&L went belly up mostly BECAUSE of the criminal influx allowed by Reaganomics and DEregulation. Remember Silverado S&L, BCCI, BNL?? It was ALSO the bank for ENRON, ARBUSTO & Harken energy. Bush 41 ordered it seized by the OCC for ALLEGED insovency to cover up their nasty deeds . ONE exec fought them and WON a wrongful action suit and BILLIONS. Too late for the bank which went to a BUSH supporter.

  • Criminal influx. Well lets see, I would like for you to take a look at when government starts to throw money at disturbing situations. All the FEMA money that people received after Katrina, how many counts of fraud or misuse of those funds. How many counts of fraud and misuse of the bailout funds are starting to surface? So uh get some real facts by REAL sources. By the way, you read a book from a political journalist and then discredit media and Fox, and then procede to call yourself relevant..

  • the hipocracy just emits in every conceivable direction.

  • I will refrain from pointing out your multiple syntax and spelling errors and stick to your logical errors. You ask qustions without any attempt to provide answers that can easily be refuted. First read the Bunch book, "Tear Down this Myth" to see the OVERWHEALMING documentation and then see your criticism of it evaporate. As far as FOX is concerned, with ANY thinking person, they are an obvious self-dsicrediting source. Buffoons, led by the criminally insane, paid by a son of Satan.
