@Squwigy Yes the ones from Goldfish Connection, and no I haven't tried their Salad Supreme yet. I feed them Pro-Gold, Shrimp pellets, peas, bananas, and green beans. I've also looked into making gel food. They are getting so large now we are wanting a new tank for them, a 55 gallon would be awesome for these two.
Your orandas are absolutely gorgeous! : ) How are you liking the progold? I had been feeding hikari lionhead, but then took a look at the ingredients and was not sure why everyone always raves about it. I grabbed a thing of new life spectrum (the ingredients look a bit better), but have been wanting to try progold.
@tithra33 Thank you, honestly anything is better than fish flakes for these guys. You can't go wrong with Hikari or Progold, both are good choices. These fish have been raised on progold, but more recently I have been mixing in Shrimp pellets with their food. Clean water and good high quality food makes all the difference.
What kind of shrimp pellets do you use? The ones from Goldfish Connection? Have you ever tried their Salad Supreme algae discs?
