the headers are outside of the engine because of the heat, they don't put anything on them whatsoever, they turn red like that because they are HOT DUHHHHHHHHHH. Anybody that says otherwise is dumb.

If you didn't know that diesel burns at a higher temp than petrol so if you run a diesel engine really fast against a petrol engine the diesel engine would produce more heat that petrol that's why the Russians mostly have diesel powered cars, Trucks, Tractors

yea we had that happen to are stock car at the races one time we had are timing off and it was a really muddy day so the radiator and everything was caked with mudd are engine temp was about 250-260, dont no why the fucker didn't blow up??

I'm sure they've got an air shutoff valve... the last thing you want to do after a run like that is kill the engine! You want to let it run and rev it a little to get some cool air through it. That wasn't a runaway, it was running just right! :)

My guess is that under the new sheet metal is an old 2745 or bigger chassis. They came from the factory with a huge Perkins V8. Where I'm from a lot of Super Stock pullers put newer model sheet metal over an old tractor combo, which is legal

How is that legal for pulling? Back home, you have to use the stock block for the tractor.  Unless its in the unlimited modified class, the tin-work usually matches the motor.

the massey fergusons used a V8 diesel engine in there earlier model tractors, this is an early model tractor with late model tin work
