A remarkable woman who saved the lives of 2500 children....their religion is irrelevant, I commend this woman, such a selfless act, a true hero... How difficult a decision to part from your child knowing that you may never see them again, I have 2 boys and if I had been in that situation I would have given them to her,at least they would have a chance.

A record was kept of every Jewish child & turned over to Jewish Community leaders after WWII. Jewish law allows this action for survival.
