Well, I reckon that Weller did loads of bloody amazing things. Sadly, his attempt at this song was not one of them. It actually made me cringe. I have seen Weller practically on fire with passion and anger; I have been touched by some of his more tender songs. But this is not nice at all. I was just about born cammas - firstly Weller has been in the charts since 1977 over here - his band the Jam wereone of the few punk bands that corssed over to the mod scene. He split the band up in the very early 80's. He alsogot awarded for outstanding contribitions ot British music in 2006 - now YOU know how manygreatartists have come from here so that's a great honour. I loved the 80's so I presume you missed The Smiths and Stones Roses too??
