Here's a tip, If you hear monster sounds. Press F3 A wierd meter will come up, look around and you will see floating numbers they are locations of monsters. :P

I think saving and reloading will get rid of those glitches. Or sometimes looking at the sky for a moment. Also, take advantage of those glitches. It'll show you where to find the best caves. The glitch is usually caused by a poorly loaded portion of the game.

Hey, little tip if you don't know about it already. "Function" then f3 gives you terminator vision. it's a very helpful tool if your looking for caves. It lets you see at a certain distance surrounding creatures. they have little numbers above their heads. Hopefully that helps you.
