The whole album is a true masterpiece .. many same characteristics with Opeth but i can't say they are influenced by them since these guys exist for more than 10 years now.
Great song by an amazing band whom are one of my favorites. Their lyrics are especially well written & the music speaks for itself, these guys rule!!! Thanks.

Sometimes the heavier the better on somedays, depending on my mood like rougher then Cannibal Corspe and i love metal i call "Rip-Out-My-Spine-And-Use-It-As-A-Jump-Rope" I find really pleasurable, but I love this band its so beautiful and dark to me. I am a true metal head. This music is true, not like the mainstreams.

Doom metal is significant for depressive theme and slow atmospheric music. It can contains also scream vocals like in emo, but there function lies elsewhere. Musically doom metal is generally more sophisticate and adult in both lyrics and instruments.
The female voice on here is Nora O'Connor. She's known for performing with Andrew Byrd's Bowl Of Fire, and has also worked with artists like The New Pornographers and Neko Case.
