to the falcore dude, anime is pretty much a souped up cartoon, just way better, take naruto for example or bleach or Inuyasha, thats anime my friend. but refering to anime hes saying that because a lot of anime are stop motion drawings or computer animated to fit the drawing characteristics and form more scenes which still go by stop motion. thats just what i remember seeing a while back so dont call me the dumbass if im wrong ok dudes...

for GIF images, you use "Image ready" by Photoshop company. you could also use "flash media"
