Sean Paul has stated several times that this was an Alton Ellis track. Cut him slack because Sean Paul and Sasha brought this track into a tough industry of dancehall and reggae that consists of nothing but talk of violence and I think they did this track more than justice!

This seems allowable - the different treatments of Horace Andy's "Skylarking" for example. Even in Second-Wave Ska, you have sampling from Prince Buster's stuff, among others.
