storm drains makes nice mediums to test homemade fireworks in... now if the same is done with sanitary drains on occasion there will be a methane flash-over, but it is quite rare. Every once awhile I'll toss a smoker in the storm drain just for kicks.

Did you know that 2 new workers went into a confined space and died due to insufficient oxygen. The guy that found them in there 30 minutes later went to find them and in a few minutes he passed out too.  3 people died due to lack of knowledge and safety. That's not a good idea bro ^_^

actually a man in france fell into a storm drain system during a flash flood and traveled over 2miles just before the he reached the end of the tunnel into the ocean he grabbed onto a manhole ladder and managed to hold on until help came 1 hour later

and no snakes dont live in there but large amounts of amphibious insects do :) happy exploring
