ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! cool video ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Great job Mary Kate and Dad! Love the little girl "Ellie" crying to her sister in the background, good to let them do this occasionally. What a fun backyard for children and their memories.
This is incredible. Thinking about bulding one for my grandkids. Couple of questions... What are those white ropes at the end that makes it stop? What kind of cable/pulley did you use? This looks really fun, not sure my daughter would let her kids go on one this high and fast. ps they should really be wearing a safety strap--ha ha
I just finished mine (120'). I drilled a hole right through the trunk of each tree and put a threaded rod through with an eye on the end. I used a 1/4" steel cable. If you want a soft landing, don't make it more than a 20 or 30 degree slope and drill some holes in some old tires and thread them through the ending point. Use Turnbucles to make it REALLY tight, but i built mine for adults.
Use all galavanized and BUILD EVERYTHING TO WITHSTAND 3 TIMES THE MAX WEIGHT YOUR GONNA EXPOSE IT TO!
