I just watched Grinders. I didn't enjoy it that much. Somehow it didn't even feel like it was about Poker or Grinders at all. It seemed aimless. I wouldn't recommend it.

I was interested to see it because I live in Toronto and it was marketed as giving glimpse of the underground poker scene in Toronto but it really doesn't do that at all.

I hate to be unkind but I can see why the filmmaker was out of work. I think this doc reflects his state of mind which is dark and dreary.

I already told you I don't play poker professionally, I don't have to. I played much more poker in the past than I do now, and when I did, I made good money doing so, and it helped pay school loans, etc. at the time. I don't need to play poker for any kind of big stakes money anymore, I have even bigger monies and bigger stakes than poker ;-D
