Funny about the inspections you mentioned. I think Dr. Oz said codes allow a certain number of rat hairs in peanut butter lol. People think things are clean just because it comes sealed in plastic. If nothing that stuff is prime composting material.
when i worked at a publix, at the end of the night we had to throw out all the bread chicken and other stuff, when asked why cant we have it instead i was tolled that if were to get sick from it we could sew them. but when i worked at a restaurant you can only reheat something 3 time before you have to throw it as to the health codes, but we could take anything after the 3 day rule we wanted because it would last a few more days and was fine.
Cody, preach it to the masses! Just because a given item has an expiry date, it doesn't mean that the product has spoiled. Yogurt is but a prime example. There is less milk ingredients in today's yogurt than in the past. Here's a challenge. I dare anyone to leave a Denone Activia yogurt out of the fridge. Just leave it sitting there for a few hours. You will be surprised that the yogurt does not spoil. Don't believe it? Try it! Yogurt with real milk ingredients would spoil immediately.
