Ok, I admit that I do Like Bram Stoker's Dracula, but really on the part of Gary Oldman's acting. But you are right in saying it's too slow-paced for its length

Reeves and Ryder's acting is what I don't like. It really follows the 'emo modern vampire story' formula

Now they search out victims in order to give them eternal life.I think vampires movies are becming to focused on sex. Don't get me wrong, sex is okay in moderation. But when I PAY to see a vampire movie, or ANY horror movie...I want to leave the cinema, scared...not with a boner.

Hahaha great video Grimm. I liked 30 days of night and I am Legend. Those vampires were brutal and not pretty. I also liked Lost Boys and Underworld even though I liked the dude that played the Werewolf the most and Kate Beckinsale.

I love Anne Rices vampire chronicles and in her books the vampire burn in the sun not sparkle. The sparkling vampires are Stephanie Meyers fault ;)

I LOVE Underworld and Underworld 2. Never seen the third one though. And like I said LOST BOYS is one of my all time favs.

However my favourite is the 1979 version of Nosferatu, with Klaus Kinski as Count Dracula. Though I have a very big soft spot for the Hammer Horror Dracula movies. Thanks Amelia! x

Seriously though. I agree with your points. I have to admit, I am a huge twilight fan. I love the books, never watched the movies though, I refuse to. I like Anne rice too, BUT I do agree with the fact that Vamps should be more raw...scary...horrible looking, not pretty and sparkling and stuff.
