@furydesigner I believe so. Haven't play Oblivion for a long time though. The chick you get it off is pretty damn strong at higher levels though. Fairly certain a self-enchanted daedric sword can be much stronger than Umbra though.

@yugi12334 This game is definitely worth buying (and it's cheap, now). Since I got it, I've yet to find a game so expansive and beautiful (not that other games haven't brought better graphics). Definitely one of my all-time favourites. You get lost in that world... and Bethesda has really crafted an entire world. The reason for his running so fast is because his character has a lot of play-time and has really high skill levels, in this case in "athletics", which affects his run speed. They

@yugi12334 have done away with the "athletics" skill in skyrim, in which run speed will be determined practically only by what you're wearing and carrying, I believe. They also cut out "acrobatics," which affects jump height (it could also get unrealistic at higher levels in Oblivion). All in all, a fantastic game; but be sure to look out for Skyrim! =] p.s. The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind is also amazing, although a bit older.

get goldbrand, stop using umbra, soul trap is useless unless you use alot of soulgems for recharging, and even if you do 80% of the things you kill wont be worth the souls. yes, umbra has highest base hit, but goldbrand is a fraction weaker base attack and has 20points of fire damage(160+ uses)

@ultimatesaged i beleive your referring to dawnfang. derp. goldbrand is a gold coloured katana that you get from daedric prince, dawnfang/duskfang is a sword you get from shivering isles as part of quest line, and it looks nothing like goldbrand. i honestly dont see how you made such a misjudgement.

You do realise the guards level with you? They start on a low level, and as your level gets higher, so does theirs. They are always 5 or so levels above you.
