  • I was once a baptist christian and this video basically described my church I use to go to. Now I'm a Atheist and more happier.

  • watch Indigo Society -spiritual community or New Age Mind Control forum? on my channel

  • I was disciple of the Guru of the Sri Caitanya Saraswati Math (same as Hare Krishna) and their system is even worse then this above, but yes, The Emotional Gun is even worst then a Physicall one. As I left , after their several attempts to rescue me (again! B) I 've benn turned in an offender, a sinful man...a bad association for the other disciples bla bla... that's crazy...be aware of Hare Krishna! do not take their food, books or incense!

  • this is the same tactics that jehovahs wittnesses use breaking the cult is also hard but my extreemly good knowlede of the bible has been helping me break my mom slowly away i was raised one and went off the deep end for a while. but when i came back to reclaim my family ive studied every bible just to stike back they had a whole room full of there elders and they couldent touch my knowledge of the scriptures and allll of the scriptures but my bible from the 1920's helped

  • I am personally subject to all these techniques, anyone else?

  • I just fucking love this video ! I have to read that book.

  • The Government, Organized Religion and the Mainstream Media use B.I.T.E techniques. Forget freedom of expression. Do you even have freedom of thought? Face it. You are being brainwashed! Get informed. READ. Think for yourself.

  • i showed a friend this and afterwerds he quite the ladder day saints. this totely describes the mormons

  • @hohnee: I'm thrilled that this video has helped someone in a practical way.

  • @hohnee Also describes the jehovahs witnesses

  • This sounds just like religon.

    Relgion is a cult!

  • at least religions have freedom of mind!

  • What do you do when your entire society has become a cult?

  • @shockadelicaustralia You mean like a meta-cult such as the Nazis or the Stalinist Communists? America has become like a giant cult also - one super cult made up of numerous smaller (and not always compatible) sub-cults. Religious cults, brand cults, business cults, pop star cults, entertainment and sports cults, political cults, military cults, gangs are cults, information cults, academia is a cults, science is a cult, atheism is a cult.

    Fish don't know they're wet.

  • @SororThothma That's exactly what I mean, a tangled web of overlapping inescapeable cults, attaching their suction caps to everything and anything (even 'rebel' movements against it get incorporated and become part of the beast).

    There's no way out!!

  • @shockadelicaustralia Stop asking questions.

  • @AClarke2007 Questions are permitted. As long as you underline the correct answer in the Watchtower paragraph.

  • @shockadelicaustralia That`s too lateral. LOL

  • I've had experience with a cult called "Lord's Recovery" or "local church"

  • When you are sane cults tactics are easily owned :)

  • Hmmm... seems like the US government.

  • You are so right!, and the media is their diversion.

  • Here is how mind control works, try it out:

Bad economy, bad job situation. People are upset and need peace of mind and a job and always have god and bad fights in their mind. Now grab some of these people in a room and start talking about peace and how taking risks will make you find a job or gaining peace of mind. Now you make them attend free seminars and promise them they will get what they want from their master!! and pay up. Some of them will never find anything.

  • B.I.T.E. the hand that bleeds you!!

  • So, you mean to say that even the group (or individual ) involved in the exposition of the indestructible properties also belong to the group of cults.

Sh!t with this observation! I know them personally. Sivashanmugam, the president of Intellectual development foundation drinks infinite bottles of whisky and sleep on the roadside. Do you mean he is a cult?

  • SO science means observation and experiment,Now people who are on the spiritual path back to godhead,So spiritual science means the same, you thus do the experiment to find the truth,by this spiritual practise people are giving up so many unwanted things, ilicit sex, intoxiation, gambling, and the mind is under control, not disturbed by the lack of these things, and also inner happiness, First controll your mind. Now try the experiment, look up nearest iskcon temple in your area, go to a sunday feast

  • Why is mind control bad, the mind is allways jumping from one thought to another, and it is very disturbing, everyone want Peacefulness of mind in their life, that means mind control. No sane man wants his mind to jump from one though to another, he wants Peacefulness, that is why people have this misconception, that if I aquire wealth my mind will be under controll, not jumping from one thought ( desire) to another, money, women, etc etc.But Peacefulness does not come from this but from inside

  • The problem is not mind-control per se.

Even advertising is a mild form of mind control, but it does not effect your life decisions or permanently skew your view of the world.

When you have a measure of control over your *own* mind it is a positive thing. The problem is when *other* people *constantly* control your opinions for their own purposes.

  • In fact, you stated this very point when you said: "Peacefulness [comes] from inside". It is an internal control that causes peace of mind not some external force controlling your thoughts like a malicious government or a high-control cult group.

In fact, cults do not bring peace of mind. It is often cults which cause your mind to "jump from one thought to another" with their ever-changing doctrines and flip-flops.

  • Cults or watheve you call it, Spiritual movements, give a prescribe method according to scriptures, how to control the mind, now you hava free will. Science means observation and experiment, so thus you do the experiment and find the truyth, you cannot simply do observation, that is tascaldom, What are you reediting the meaning of science.

Adv does affect you, for instance watching a porngraphic add, later you mind is drawn upon it, and thus you get no peacefullness of mind.

    Dont just observe

  • @jdmx3 you are right.. but when we say mind control we are not talking about the tempered reason of self-control we are talking about manipulation.. so maybe thought control or mental manipulation would be a good alternate term here

  • @jdmx3 You sound like a fucking idiot.

  • @jdmx3 I believe you've missed the point completely. Mind-control ihas absolutely NOTHING to do with self-control or knowledge of oneself or control of ones own thought processes, or control of ones desire to aquire wealth. If you watched the video properly you would probably understand...

  • @jdmx3 Mind-control means other people taking control of your mind, undermining your freedom of thought and expression, userping your capacity for logic and reason and using you for their own purposes. It is far from a peaceful state of mind. It actaully often results in "double-think" the most disturbing mental state I can think of. I believe the word you're searching for is "self-discipline" which is desirable.

  • ...n.b. Since you seem so inclined to misunderstand the simplest of terms, my caveat is: not "self-dicipline" in the Opus Dei sense. Please try to pay attention and use words and terms in the way that they are widely defined, not your own personal definition.

  • Great video! Fits Mormonism to a T! Steven Hassan presented last year at our annual conference in Salt Lake City. His presentation is on our page under the title "Releasing the Bonds."

Thanks for putting this out there! All the best! -EMF

  • Fuck the watchtower they ruined my fuckin life

  • Point 21 in the video, phobia indoctrination is illustrated in these paranoid quotations from the Watchtower:

"This fact cannot be overemphasized: We are in a war with superhuman foes, and we constantly need to be aware of this. Satan and his demons are real; [...] they are "the world rulers of this darkness."

    Watchtower 1983 January 15 p.22

  • Like The Way International put all reading materiel away and take "The Class"!!!!!

  • JW's are a cult, disfellowshipping IS a punishment, they do spread bullshit, they do manipulate information, they do keep tabs on its members, and they do consider questions to be causing divisions within the sect.

  • xNekoxKunx (Holly) is 16 years old.

Personally, I am seeing more & more of this kind of posting from VERY young Witness kids.

I recently discovered a "rash" of children (ages 14-16) that were posting in defense of The Watchtower claiming in their "profile" to be in their 30's

    VERY SAD.

But, I think for many, this is part of the process that leads to an exclamation of "I cannot do this anymore! It IS a cult! And I want something better!"

I know. I went through the same process myself........

  • Appropriate music

  • SCIENTOLOGY!!! BOO-YAH

  • the pcg is a fucking cult my mom cant have contact with her own parents ever again in this life or her brother because she left the church...fucking psychotic cult

  • jws are the biggest cult in the world our probly under the influense

  • @GreenOryx its not ordinary jews its sociopathic application of occultism (AKA Roman-Egyptian imperialism)... you're average jew is the preferred scapegoat.. Look up papal bloodlines and Arcanum Arcanorum Rite of Atlantis.. the real power.. Zionists jews and communists are just more pawns on the "chessboard" just like low level masons.. It is the social aspect of power that accounts for how the cult aspect of our society works. It comes from people not being emotional mature or true spirituality

  • @GreenOryx well i mean in the big picture at least.. for example rothschilds married into aldobrandini family for rank.. real power is still shared between bloodlines of royalty they just are able today to act invisibly simply because people are dumbed down and brainwashed. we just accept all the lies about how the system works when it is really quite thoroughly dominated by a social hierarchy of psychopathic tendencies.

  • 1) A "cult" is an exclusive system of religious beliefs & practices generally considered to be unorthodox.

    2) You deny that JWs disfellowship baptized members?

    3) Your auntie was obviously not a real baptized member otherwise she'd be disfellowshipped & shunned.

    4) JWs are NOT permitted to read literature critical of the Watchtower.

    5) Baptized members HAVE TO submit monthly reports on their activity. If they miss 1 month they are questionned. I should know, my father is a service overseer.

  • To elaborate on point 4), literature critical of the Watchtower is characterised as "poison". Look at this quotation:

"Beware of those who try to put forward their own contrary opinions. [...] Therefore, resolve in your heart that you will never even touch the poison that apostates want you to sip. Heed the wise but firm commands of Jehovah to avoid completely those who would deceive you, mislead you, turn you aside into the ways of death."

    Watchtower 1986 March 15 pp.15-20

  • Again on point 4), the Watchtower requires unity at the expense of free thought or opinions. Another quotation:

"First, since "oneness" is to be observed, a mature Christian must be in unity and full harmony with fellow believers as far as faith and knowledge are concerned. He does not advocate or insist on personal opinions or harbor private ideas when it comes to Bible understanding."

    Watchtower 2001 August 1

  • 6) Try asking several different Elders these questions & see what answers you get: a) Why was the WT society an NGO of the UN (wild beast) from 1992 to 2001? b) Did the WT society not predict 1975 as "a sabbath period of rest and release" which many speakers implied was the end of this system? c) Can JWs discuss opinions or ideas that differ from orthodox WT teachings? d) Should I critically examine the teachings & history of (any religion / the WT) before deciding it is the truth?

  • To elaborate on point 6), according to the Watchtower Society, asking questions is Satanic, which implies that independent thinking is effectively "thought-crime". Examine this direct quotation:

"Satan called into question God's way of doing things. He promoted independent thinking. [...] How is such independent thinking manifested? A common way is by questioning the counsel that is provided by God's visible organization."

    Watchtower 1983 January 15 p.22

  • The Teletubbies have no "mind-control power". In fact there is no such thing as "mind-control power"; it's not as mysterious as that.

Some religious and political organisations use different methods including rhetoric, isolation and emotional pleading to affect the opinions and beliefs of members. That effect can be extremely powerful if used in conjunction with other methods.

  • "Mind-control" is a very misunderstood phrase. Many people take it to mean being controlled like robots, but it is much more subtle than that.

Jehovah's Witnesses manipulate the information their members have access to in many ways. Most witnesses self-regulate which means they stop themselves from thoughts critical of the organisation even when the arguments are clear.

  • Comment removed

  • They also use a punishment system which stops many members from leaving out of fear of having no contact with family members. If your auntie was not baptized before she left, that method would evidently not have worked on her. The fact that she was 16 when she left shows that she was either intelligent enough to see through the white-washed facade of the organisation, or that she was so attracted to a non-Witness lifestyle that the Witness world was unpalatable to her.

  • Very informative video- I have also read "Combatting (sic) cult mind control" By Steve Hassan- it's an extremely clearly written explanation of how cults suck in the vulnerable then create dependence, it also explains how to claim your mind back.

  • have any body heard about the brahma kumaris, because its similar to this video given information.\like why ppl have to believe in religions/cults and they don't even know it's true, why ppl choose to believe and chain themselves to a religion/cult..they even kill for there religion..these religious fanatics idiotic brainwash people that cannot think for themselves making the world corrupted dangerously

  • I was raised in a religious cult from 4-18 years old. I had an example from my past for just about every point made in this video. Thank you for posting this...hopefully, it will help some people.

  • which cult were you in?

  • You'll laugh. It was no David Koresh type religious sect. I grew up in the Worldwide Church of God, which later splintered into several other groups, 1 being the Philadelphia Church of God, which was where I spent my last 5 yrs. of church in. Their beliefs were founded on 7th day adventist & jewish type views. The problem is that they are deep into exclusiveness & bible prophecy. It took me years to stop having nightmares about the tribulation (rapture).

  • It has taken years to un-ravel the lies I was told to believe. My mom still attends the PCG. It causes a great deal of tension between us because she wants to do things (like listen to rock music), but she fears excommunication. She is afraid to think for herself.

  • The PCG exhibits similar traits and uses similar terminology to the JWs. The statements below read like sentences in the Watchtower magazine.

"Only this church (The PCG) gives meat in due season. Only this church is doing God's work!" (The Philadelphia Trumpet, p.1 May 1995)

"Some in the world try to label the PCG a cult. Actually, we are God's only true representative on this earth!..."( The Philadelphia Trumpet, p. 19 March, 1994)

  • Compare these with quotaions from the Jehovah's Witness magazine, The Watchtower:

"The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society [is] the one and only channel which the Lord has used in dispensing his truth continually since the beginning of the harvest period. (Watch Tower, 1st April 1919, p. 6414)

Consider too, the fact that Jehovah's organization alone in all the earth is directed by God's holy spirit or active force. (Watchtower, 1st July 1973, p. 402)

  • I am impressed! You do your research!

  • Typical victims response. Nobody's picking on you. The WT org exhibits typical Orwellian cult-like activity, it cannot be denied. Even just saying "only we have the truth" is already a large step, but the JWs also have absolute authoritary, low tolerance for questions or critical inquiry, tabs & monthly records kept on each member, a do-more-more-more attitude and a "Big Brother is always right even when he's wrong" belief system. Unmistakeable cult behaviour.
