@MrHum4 Goku's body was dead, and thus better equipped to take the stress of ssj3. Not to mention he probably faced powerful foes in Otherworld, powerful enough to make for better training than Vegeta's.

This happened before Goku goes SSJ3. He means that because Vegeta's mortal body wasn't as resilient as Goku's other world body, he was taking more damage than Goku and that he was dealing out more because Goku was in rough shape too.
Very true saw, but think about this. he was easily able to not be controlled be babidi and said it himself. All he wanted was for Babidi to release his cold dark heart that was no longer there after meeting the Z warriors. So couldn't you say what made him stronger was re awakening his evilness that he already had.

@MegaTommy11 it does, it's just 1) repetetive, since they use the same tracks over and over since season 1 (if there were new ones since the cell saga, I sadly couldn't tell) and 2) doesn't hit a cord with many people emotionally as the original DBZ music did (the one we're currently listening to is a great example.) This music creates an atmosphere of things becoming dire and nerves being pushed, and the music for Kai just seems mediocre by comparison.
From the very few episodes I have seen , Kid Gohan is different , Frieza is different , Cell is different , Vegeta sounds the same all the way through were as in the beginning his voice was more evil and once on namek it was more mature.
I couldn't stand it any longer so I quit watching the stupid marathon lol

He was just trying to prevent what happened in DBGT to him. They made him so weak they basically killed him off. Like in avatar the last airbender, vegeta shares the same fighting value as Zuko. And as soon as zuko/vegeta start fighting for someone other than them-self they become incredibly weak because they're not used to it.

I really like Goku, but he had a very curious personality as a kid, and was taught by those around him to be 'good'. Vegeta was born a Prince of a race that was suppressed by a tyrant..and later eradicated. Taught to not allow sorrow to consume him, he was destroying planets filled with inhabitants as a KID. His journey he's made entirely on his own, and look how far he's come. Because of the inner battles he's had to fight and won, Vegeta will, in a way, always be the stronger man than Goku.

From the very few episodes I have seen , Kid Gohan is different , Frieza is different , Cell is different , Vegeta sounds the same all the way through were as in the beginning his voice was more evil and once on namek it was more mature.
I couldn't stand it any longer so I quit watching the stupid marathon lol

@IMMAGARA1 Lol goku was never selfish in the cell games..and vegeta is only selfish in the sense the he only gives a damn about himself for a while. He was just trying to prevent what happened in DBGT to him. They made him so weak they basically killed him off. Like in avatar the last airbender, vegeta shares the same fighting value as Zuko. And as soon as zuko/vegeta start fighting for someone other than them-self they become incredibly weak because they're not used to it.

i hate how a lot of DBZ fans think that babidi helped vegeta go SSJ2. babidi in reality had almost no affect on vegeta's power. it was all mental; vegeta wanted to be evil and ruthless the way he had been, and he hoped that would give him the edge against goku. in reality, babidi is a weak piece of shit wizard and vegeta is awesome.

The reason vegeta let Babidi control him was to prevent what happened in DBGT. No one gave a fuck about him. He was still SSJ 2 in most of the GT fights. That's fucking bullshit if you ask me.

Fuck goku and every main character of every other show that was made more powerful just to appeal to people. Naruto, Dante from devil may cry, Light from death note, Ichigo from bleach, Luffy from one piece and so on.

I really like Goku, but he had a very curious personality as a kid, and was taught by those around him to be 'good'. Vegeta was born a Prince of a race that was suppressed by a tyrant..and later eradicated. Taught to not allow sorrow to consume him, he was destroying planets filled with inhabitants as a KID. His journey he's made entirely on his own, and look how far he's come. Because of the inner battles he's had to fight and won, Vegeta will, in a way, always be the stronger man than Goku.

@stovnergutt Broly should be disregarded... the story was originally planned to end at Namek, and Goku was to be the legendary super saiyan. It was a feat only heard of in stories, and one only arises every thousand (two?) years. Everyone shouldn't have become one, they just had to to continue to story otherwise Goku would've been the only relevant fighter.

@stovnergutt Vegeta said in during his fight with Freiza that he was stronger than his father when he was a child and considering that King Vegeta died the same day Goku was born Vegeta had to of been stronger than him at that point.Plus you can't include Broly because he is not part of the real story.Movie characters don't count expect for Bardock.

People dont realize.The reason why Vegeta is SOOO PROUD or Prideful is because of how he was raised.People seem to forget how Goku was raised.Very differently. Vegeta had expectations to live up to his WHOLE life. Goku didnt even know he was a saiyin until Raditz told him.Vegeta was the Prince to his father King V. and was suppose to be the STRONGEST most POWERFUL saiyin alive.Until Goku was trained by Kai.If Vegeta were trained by Kai instead of doing it himself,he would be stronger than Goku

@KrisBreezy3 Even if that's not what your saying but you make it seem like king kai is the reason the gap between em is the way it is. Vegeta was still technically stronger than Goku, if not equal , even after Goku came back from king kai's planet. So i seriously doubt Vegeta training with him would make a difference. Besides i never known Vegeta to accept much help when it came to training. He'd probably turn down kai and go at it alone, never know lol.
