  • Its not from our world..... Nice :)

  • Wonder what it sounded like? I suspect there was not a symphony orchestra, but I guess we'll never know, since the real sounds are totally covered up!

  • youre not worried about breaking through into a hill side? and do you need a special license to go VFR OTT?

  • This shouldn't be recommended for anyone who has fear of heights, or vertigo.

  • 1:07 ftw!

  • Im 16 and a guy and for the first time in my life i have truly seen something beautiful.

  • @bonlob23 me to !!

  • You must have the greatest feeling of freedom up there! Don't see any cops giving tickets above those clouds. Get drunk, shoot a pistol, do whatever you want. LOL

  • on a full tank of fuel how far can you travel

  • @MarkieBhoy17 with my 12 litres tank I can fly roughly 3 hours at IAS 42-45km/h, But the ground speed really depends on wind strength and direction.

  • @milanthepilot IAS 42-45km/h, meaning what n i just luv it when the owner replys

  • @MarkieBhoy17 it means my PPG can fly at the speed 42-45 kilometers per hour, relative to surrounding air. In southern wind 30km/h I can reach over 200 km ground distance flying 3 hours north, but not more than 40 km flying the same 3 hours south. So how far I can travel really depends on wind strength and direction.

  • sup "rambo'

  • How long does it take to learn and fly solo?

  • @bfine123 If the weather is OK, you can get basic PG skills (take off, downhill flight, approach, landing) skills in just a few days, then you add PPG. In calm, no wind, no thermal condition you can fly in less than a week. Your very first flight is solo. There is nothing like flying with instructor on PG/PPG. Different issue is to study air traffic rules, meteorology etc. That is never-ending story.

  • @milanthepilot appreciate your answer - thx

  • doesnt the oxyygen get lack when going at a high altitude??Doesnt it required oxygen mask and goggles??

  • @ManRupununi no, that is not that high. It is only 8000ft. In case of PPG zour motor would start to struggle by air density earlier than you and simply stop you ascending. I could not make more than 4000m on my PPG - engline lost all it's power due to too rich mixture

  • @milanthepilot ok it looks lie ure almost over the atmophere

  • Beautiful!

  • are you in contact with ATC?

  • @woollyg no, this was within G-class airspace. But inside AFIS zone of LZPE airport, and I was monitoring it's frequency all the time. Not legal, but not as unsafe as it may look like. I would know about every aircraft within at least 4nm range.

  • you are a f**king nutter!!

  • just waiting for the pilot on an ifr flight plan to crash into the camera

  • @nachoness IFR FP in G class air space???

  • @milanthepilot that's possible

  • Nice...............

  • This is my favorite paragliding video period and I so want to do this one day.

  • coooooooooooooooooool i hope next year fly like this man from place to another with my ornithopter plane freely to visit my relative

  • Ahoj! Lovely film and beautiful countryside. Carpathian mountains in the distance?

  • As long as the control tower at the airport knows were you are otherwise your putting out some kind of radar signal yourself ,or else a plane that does not know our there might hit or back blast you out of the sky.

  • So awsome!!!! To feel freedom alone over the clouds. Great Video

  • WHAt as yUO SATTING ON??

  • *SNAP

  • @AirTimeEh wAHT?/

  • @ConstantineRobbins Your life is depending on a few straps and ropes, what if they snapped :o ahaha

  • The pussy chose not to fly through the clouds! What a pussy!

  • @UberLifeTroll Generally speaking, you have to have an IFR rating and the aircraft being flown has to be IFR rated as well in order to fly through clouds. otherwise you have to keep a seperation of 1000ft about, 500ft below and 2000ft horizontal. Do you research before writing dumb coments such as yours.

  • Wow amazing :))

  • you didnt get dizzy due to the thinning of oxygen

  • your altitude is 2437M?

  • @archturn yes, just at upper level of G class air space, which is 8000ft at that area

  • @milanthepilot one of my favorite PPG videos

  • bravo

  • Lovely video bro and so nice you go see your parents with your Paramotor..just one question..don't you get lonely there al alone?Once i was offered the chance to jump with a round shute from 1500 feeds and the dark rainy globs decided me not to jump . i felt like i was going to die lol..Nver jumped anymore -although i love flying :) and your video is wonderful -don't bother the 3 people that rate this video `Bad , they must be lost in life..

  • Wow so amazing, I hope some day to save enough money to get trained and get my own hang glider <3

  • Nice solar glory showing up on the cloud. Don't you just love to see your own shadow with your full rainbow around it. It gives me a buzz.

  • Ever accidently dropped something from up there?

  • @MarijuanaCanada yes, once I dropped external microphone to my GA radio. A few years ago, see my video "Flight from Martin town...". I reported my position to LZPE entering it's AFIS. Later I wanted to report leaving the AFIS zone, but found no mike to do so... It was not little helmet mike, but bulky thing from my portable CB radio... Thanks God not above populated area.

  • Wow that's pretty badass dude. you fly to your parents house LOL.

  • This is powered paragliding.. right? This looks like so much fun! I want one! Thanks for sharing your video bud, where did you get your glider and how much do these things usually cost?

  • @aprox23 my wing is AXIS Vega II and Paramotor Nirvana Rodeo. You may get good wing for 2k bucks and reasonable paramotor for 3k. Then something for reserve parachute, helmet...

  • What would happeb if u just went tjru fhe cloud

  • @clubchub22 nothing, but it is like scuba diving in the milk. You can´t see the wing, have no idea where is up and where is down. Just sitting in the middle of white universe, where all human senses struggling to function. I´m not a coward, but flying through the cloud makes me nervous. I do a bit of speleology so I know for sure I don´t suffer from claustrophobia or anything like that, but I like to be under or above the cloud, not inside of it.

  • id be afraid of airplanes

  • 0:13 is Lt. Dan!!!

  • I'd like to fly these through a cumulonimbus...

  • @d3boy2002 are you sure ???

  • @d3boy2002

Go for it, let me get my camera first it would make a great YouTube video, which hospital mortuary do you want to go too?

  • Shit, i dropped the camera.... oh well.

  • Oxygen?

  • @Ashitaka255 Nooooo, what for? It's only 8000 feet AMSL

  • @milanthepilot NP, I just never knew at what altitude you need oxygen tanks. It must still be quite bad though right?

  • @Ashitaka255 no, consider there is very little (almost none) physical activitz required up there. So no problem with air density at all.

  • @milanthepilot only 8000ft, lol, to cool friend, to cool

  • wow....you got balls my friend!!

  • @allanshoafrocks no bravery, mate. 8000ft high, calm weather, reserve ready on my lap - piece of a cake.

  • awesome vid, u got me thinking about this :D... will you tell me please what is the name of the song?

  • @mihaleastefan buna ziua domnule Stefan. It is a soundtrack from Rambo 4 movie.

  • Is this legal in the US?

  • It doesn't look real! Its just like :o

  • I'm glad your shoes didn't fall off.

  • Apart from non VFR flight and the risk of big jets hitting you, looked fab. What was the lift like in the clouds? did you have to big ears to get back through them or just ease of the throttle to decend? Was there any turbulenc above the cloud layer or at base on the way up?

    Cheers.

  • @gmcomc that was late afternoon flight, with very little thermal activity. No major turbulence. I did big ears to descent faster and get out of the cloud layer ASAP. I don´t like being inside the cloud. Very inconvenient feeling.

  • looks so amazing

  • Sry (no licence needed)

  • This has got me thinking, firstly I had progressional training and do fly to the light aircraft air laws but in the UK you need licence or instrance or training to fly foot launch, so technically would there be any laws being broken ? (uk only)

  • An amazing video, ive read the previous comments right or wrong but I hope I get stuck above the clouds just the once to experience what you have !

  • It was illegal, but amazing to see. I hope you fly safe, you knew it was just a layer of stratus/cumulus clouds and you could get above them. Smart man. Hope you fly safe!

  • it happened to me too, there was a little cloud in the valley I did no want to enter so I climbed over it and all of a sudden I was like a boing with clouds everywhere beneath. It was a nice moment but then i desperatelly started to look for a spot where to escape. I eventually have managed. I would definitelly not want to decent through the clod.

  • Having laws on how high you could fly are rly rly stupid

  • @24Jakub24

...some people feel the same way about stop lights

and driving on one side of the centerline..

    to hell with rules.

    you da' man!

  • The limit is 3000 meters. Isnt it? Because of commercial flights. In your GPS you had only 2400 meters(if i saw it ok) so if not for the clouds, you were flying legal.

  • @was78 uncontrolled G-class airspace is up to 8000ft, or some 2460m. In terms of height there was no problem. I also climbed through the clouds fully legally, the sky was less than 4/8 covered and I kept all legal vertical and horizontal distances from them. But clouds "melted" while I was above them and created compact 8/8 layer. And that is clear violation of VFR rules, both flying above them and descending through them.

  • Question, Do you have some sort of a radar system in case you bump or someone bumps into you while you are up above the clouds, like a pasenger jet doing 600 miles an hour? A little scary, but it must be an amazing feeling being upthere. I might feel like superman, lol. Great video.

  • @11MRKARL FYI, even passenger jet must fly in G-space under VFR rules and with ILS speed below 460km/h, not 600MPH :-) And it was not that scary, if you read some of my previous responses you'll find I was sure there is no plane arround. But agree, amazing feeling.

  • @11MRKARL there is such thing calles FLARM - but it works only if pilots both have it. And its mainly for sailplanes, paragliders etc only. If you respect the VFR rules, you shouldn't have problems getting hit by a passenger jet.

  • Do you have a ifr paraglider rating lol

  • i wish if i can do that

  • i had a paramotor for a few months...i never had fun tho :( was always looking up at my lines asking myself when they were gonna start breaking one at a time.

  • I watched your video wide-eyed in total amazement & wonder. A friend told me to do a Video search and I found yours. Wow, and here I thought you had to die to vist Heaven. This is a sport I could really get into. Any info you can share with me would be wonderful, thank you.

  • @jetinight Hi, I make these videos mainly for myself, to refresh nice memories. However, I'm allways happy when I see they inspired somebody to fly. Try it. Just note flying like this is not legal. Watch my Qxygene video, that is legal and safer way of being above clouds. Regards from Slovakia.

  • @milanthepilot In your opinion, what would be the best machine to buy and learn to fly on for new pilots...? I've noticed some videos here show difficult to launch and very heavy machines...I'm not looking to do any extreme flights, just something I can use for a long time to fly in an easy and SAFE way. Thanks in advance for your comments...

  • @MiamiGuy1972 I would pay more attention to the wing than to the motor. You need DHV-1, easy to inflate cannopy. Once you lift and stabilize the wing above your head, the rest of the take-off is a piece of cake. Any paramotor with e.g. Simonini 2 engine should be fine. I would not opt for Solo 210, unless you are below 70kg. And unless you are more than 100kg I don´t see the reason for anything stronger.

  • The Clouds, The Music, The Editing, it all Makes for One of the Best.

I have some video flying 'bove the clouds, I need to edit and post some of those.

    milanthepilot is Cool.... MrTom423

  • how was the air up there? cold?

  • DID YOU SEE THE UFO 1:26 LOWER LEFT CORNER? OMG!!!

  • Comment removed

  • did you see the ufo 1:37 lower left corner?!!!!!

  • so beautiful...

Wait, do you need a license or is it legal to drive a paramotor?

  • @MegaYoshiBros Yes, it is legal. Once you have a license :-) But flying above clouds is not.

  • @milanthepilot

I always thought paramotors qualified as ultralights, which, at least in the U.S., require no license to fly. Although I believe there is an altitude limit for ultralight traffic.

  • @MegaYoshiBros You dont need a pilots licence... where are you located?

  • uhh shoes untied!!

  • @brinedase magic laces. Can't stay tied for more than 10 steps :-)

  • @milanthepilot This vid is amazing!! Hopefully I could do this one day after college is done:D

  • @milanthepilot I've got those same shoes, and I live in America =D

  • @Direwolf56 God bless globalisation. They are both made in China I assume :-)

  • Illegal as hell.

  • @pancurium we all know that...

  • now this is some impressive stuff..! :O

  • Great view, nice video, congrats!! I fly tandem too, and I know some things about, if I can help, just tell me, Greetings!

  • In violation of VFR rules. But we've all done it once or twice, just to know what it's like :-) Did my in-cloud and above cloud flights when I still had a microlight. It really is something else. Loved the music you added!

  • Amazing

  • did you get wet flying in clouds?

  • Where did you get that cool Army Green Helmet?

  • @TheTJA365 found it on e-Bay some 5 years ago.

  • tak toto je nadhera :)

  • @bicylindrico, it wont be very peaceful when an aluminum razor blade comes through the clouds at 300+km/hr. This is ok to do once while on radio, if you like to roll the dice, but not smart to do on a regular basis. Also ATC will frown and eventually want to "discuss". If you would like "peaceful", go ridge soaring at the beach on a summer day. ;)

  • I have watched this video it seems a hundred times. This is exactly why I will be getting a PPG soon. It seems the only place on this earth to get get some real peace. Amazing!

  • Amazing video but what do you do about other aircraft? I fly, PPL single engine (A), and often when I fly I will go in and out of clouds like this but only if I have a transponder and know for 100% that there is nobody else in the area. How do you avoid a collision or look out for a commercial aircraft when you are on the wing?

  • @MrUAV100 Hi, in this case it was in G space, uncontrolled. At the same time, it was right above a sport airport LZPT with ATZ service. Listening to their radio frequency I was sure there is no plane arround. Flying like this is no doubt clear violation of VFR rules, at the same time it was not so stupid and careless as it may appear.

  • @milanthepilot Thanks for the information. I didn't think for a second you were crazy but I was more interested in how you go about avoiding aircraft (I also don't want to meet you up there) during flight into cloud/poor vis. I'm sure you're not in the group of nutters on YouTube who fly in a way that is 100% lethal. Take it easy and safe flying.

  • @milanthepilot how long did the flight take you?

  • @BmoneyRnow this wing makes about 40km/h

  • So amazing!

  • Fantastic , thanks for sharing

  • That looks scary!!! O.o

  • beautiful

  • bellissimo

  • damn that looks surreal

  • Excellent video, Thanks for sharing with us.

  • Nice video. Owned a paraplane, the very first powered parachute made. 1984

then bought a cessna 150, now looking to go back. Besides the Nirvana, which others do you recommend. Also, do you like that sim motor? I had 2 of them, 15 hrs each on my paraplane. everyone seems to be goigntwith the Devil, but, I hear the Sim motor, although alittle heavy, runs like iron. tim andrew, connecticut USA please email me: pilotfire at sbcglobal dot net

  • I would like you to know that I prchase a paramotor and starting trainning because of this video !! it is incredible !!!

  • Excellent!! It must be nice to feel like an eagle....

  • Is flying in cloud legal where you are?

  • @lgarvey No, it is not legal. As you see at the beginning of this video, at the moment when I climbed above cloud level the sky was covered by less than 4/8. I kept all legal limits from horizontal and vertical distance from the clouds. But suddenly, literally within a few seconds all these "holes in the clouds" were closed. Thatś why I used the word "trapped" in the title of this video. Then there was no other escape than right throug the cloud.

  • @milanthehobo And one more thing - the place is just between 2 AFIS zones, LZPT and LZPE airports. Every plane entering or leaving these areas in G air space reports that to INFO services. By monitoring both radio frequencies I was sure there is no plane arround.

  • @lgarvey ; stupid question!

  • What camera are you using?? Quality is brilliant.

  • @billy10100

hi, that was an old Panasonic SDR-S150 with attached Raynox semi fish-eye conversion lense. Small, compact, but quite good as it is 3CCD mode. Unfortunately, I lost this camera this spring, making some rafting footage :-(

Milanthehobo and milanthepilot is the same person, I just use two YT profiles for different vidś.

  • This is insaneley cool :) I dream about upgrading to PPG from regular paragliding... I have a silly question though- is a 70km trip like this on a PPG economicaly sound (I dont konw the costs of engine eploitation and fuel consumption)? Meaning- did You pay alot more than You would pay for driving?

    Cheers, great vid!

  • @SiemaZiomek

my cruising speed is about 45km/h IAS, slightly more than PG, as the same wing is a bit overloaded by additional motor and fuel weight. Consumption is about 3 litres/hour, which roughly makes 5 litres of fuel. Road distance to my parents and back is slightly longer than air distance, I think the cost is comparable. But PPG is not transport device.

You mentined "upgrading" from PG to PPG. It is no way upgrade, PG and PPG are completely different things (I do both)

  • @milanthepilot Thanks for the reply! :) Of course I understand its not a transport device- that would be bringing it down a notch- but the fact that the price of a trip like that is comparable to going by car is a very positive aspect. And by saying "upgrade" I ment going that direction- both getting qualified (flying PPG must have a different feel to it too), and buying the equpiment needed- so yeah I guess its not just an upgrade...

  • @milanthepilot why is it not a transport device? just wondering as it seems quite practice if you somewhere to land and take off. Its just the weather that limits you I guess...

  • a few more limits, but the weather itself is reducing the chances to fly from place A to place B in set time quite heavilly. I can fly from my place to my parents, land next to their house, have a cup of coffee and fly back. I know that if I see weather is changing in the middle of trip I simply turn back. For sure if I need to get from place A to place B at time T, and thento get back, for more serious reason I would not even consider PPG, but something more reliable.

  • @milanthepilot of course, I guess it depends where you live. I live in Cornwall England and the weather is so changeable it would not be viable, in the last two or three years you could count the flyable days on two hands. but places especially in the US and AUS where it would be alot more viable.

  • Wonderful!.

    great video and music.

  • wow!!!

  • dude that is so freaking AWESOME!! i could imagine how free it must feel to fly one of those. the experience just seems so priceless

  • beautiful ...

  • Never thought of above the clouds before.. Youve put bad thoughts in my head for the weekend.. Hmmmm...Love the helmet..

  • Just fantastic - keep up the good work - from N Ireland UK

  • piekne

  • Wonderful! Ein Video zum träumen!

  • nice sight! nice Vid! keep going on!

    100 points ;-}

  • Beautiful!

  • Clouds, is best flights when we fly PPG. I forgott my camera in my car when i fly in the clouds last year.

Best luck to you and a great video.

  • Great Vid , & Nice background music

    Doc

  • I use background "stolen" from othe YT videos recently. YT blocked my best vids for unauthorized video so I hope this way I´ll keep mz vids nblocked :-)

  • Beautiful Vid. man. The music is a version of a song from the movie FIRST BLOOD with Sylvester Stallone, right?

This is my favorite video that you have posted...

  • @ronniemegertonn

It is from recent, 4th Rambo (at Barma) Not sure about it's full name.

  • I hope one day soon to have a video camera for my PPC, but is difficult on retirement & disabled to have extra money enough for one...I tried PPG, but too old & physical limitations...My left leg completely went out from under me when I started to run...So I fly my PM2, & love it...I have modified it & still am, putting shocks on the rear, & already use a valve spring for my front shock...Worked out perfect...

  • Best video i have truly seen , thanks for your work on this . I invite you to america to fly this countryside. We can fly 18000 feet a.g.l. here on ppg. Great video.

  • great helmet!

  • I have't words.. it's so amazing!

    what engine do you use?

  • Paramotor Nirvana Rodeo with Simonini Mini 2 engine.

  • I am american country paramotor pilot and i enjoyed the video. keep them coming man.I have some of high altitude paramotoring and zero wind launches'check them out .

  • That was great. I loved when you flew down through the clouds.

  • Beautiful video Milan, keep them coming.

  • Very good video,

    Sultan.
