ok, stupid question but back when all these old cartoons were made there were no TVs in ppls homes....so where did these ppl go to watch cartoons? Did ppl go all the way to the cinemas with their kids just to watch them??? sorry for the ignorance...just wondering
Brandibroke2195, Back then cartoons and newsreels were shown at the beginning of the real movie. they also had what they called "a serial" which was like 10-15 minutes of and ongoing story line, (superman, flash gordon, dick tracy)which when you went the next week it would be continued from last week before the real movie. Okay that's it i am officially old!
