david sylvian & holger czukay - the spiralling of winter ghosts

I walked into a record shop in Norwich in 1980, there was the Quiet Life album. I was 15 years old.Something about the front cover drew me in, that was it. So began a life long love of Sylvian and other associated artists. I`ll be forever grateful..

Plight and Premonition IS the best ambient album's ever made. I've listened to these two tracks probably more than anything and never tire of it.

When I first bought Plight and Premonition I got the idea to listen to it in the dark...... big mistake! Lol when the "death rattle" noise erupted at 0:46 I was completely freaked out!! Very wintry and very eerily beautiful...

For me this piece exudes like raw moods... A great pairing of artists....

They are different but close as well...some things exactly the same others slightly different, like clearer or slower or with more crispness...I am in awe of this stuff since it came out new,I listen to this and other sylvian/czukay stuff EVERY night almost to go to sleep to! I have a compilation mini disc 158 minutes long with all this ambient stuff! I want this version! write to me and we can trade versions!
